The reason your wife is angry with the coffee is that it takes very few variables to make great coffee. But to someone who doesn't know why you do certain stuff it feels like a million things and everything is random, but she doesn't understand that you don't understand. Well of course she understands that you don't understand, but not why you don't understand, and then its as frustrating for a coffee lover to live with a coffee novice as it is for a coffee novice to make coffee for a coffee lover.
What you need to control is basically, the grind coarsens, temperature, and drip speed.
Coarseness, if you have a finer grind it fits more for espresso which has like higher pressure, while a french press you often want a coarser grind because the coffee sits there in the water and infuses. A pour-over, or a coffee maker (like the automatic drip I don't know how you make coffee and what things are called in the US) have some grind in the middle.
The temperature should ideally be the same throughout for most ways to brew, but basically you don't want to burn your coffee, if you like less acidic tasting coffee, then you can make infused cold brew in a french press where it sits in the press on a shelf in room temperature for about 20-24 hours, with a pourover-ish grind. It will be really strong, but then you can add a little to your cup, then add 160F water and its almost so little acidity that it tastes like there was added sugar. Or you can add cold milk (or substitute) and ice cubes for a wicked ice coffee.
Drip speed has to do with how much coffee you are trying to extract, you don't want to over extract, but you also want to get more coffee out of your beans or powder. Trying to extract more by pressing hard on the coffee to get more water out can overextract, or infusing in hot (or cold) water to long, where hot needs less time to extract.

I was gonna say I hope we've done zeus on zeus while you zeus with zeus before. Obvious build is obvious but it's still really fun.
I like playing with zeus shield with Zeus special on it. All I do is call shield back and than dash Infront of it so that it keeps following me.
