  1. I'm pretty happy with some of my fastest times — below eight minutes — but going faster would be great. I've always been told that the cast weapons, Beowulf and Hera, are among the very fastest. But I suck terribly with them lol.

I'm alright-ish with Hera, but even then the fastest I can go is ten-something. I'm downright putrid with Beowulf, I feel like I move the speed of smell with that thing.

  2. Quick question:

    Context:

I have hypermobility/physical disabilities and when using both a PS4 as well as a PS5 controller (Playing Hades on PS5 with a default PS5 controller new player).

When rebinding both reload (if using the rail aspect that shoot reloads is it Hestia I think) and cast for when playing cast builds I tried rebinding the button to L1/L2 or left trigger as suggested.

I have large male hands, my finger next to the thumb (ring finger?) gets strain injuries and struggles when using this rebind option as does my little finger.

Would anyone happen to have a thought on how I can play a game such as Hades fast without injury?

I do not know what is causing the strain injury specifically.

I tend to work around my malfunctional hands by having the left hand just grip the controller and having the thumb on the left thumb stick.

Then having my right hand gripping the right side, right thumb presses X for dash Square button for attack Triangle for special attack and Circle for cast.

Third issue is (guessing my user error here) the PlayStation controllers tend to get stick drift on the left stick, so I am as careful as possible (I have issues with controlling my strength/force applied to buttons pressed as well as force applied to pushing the thumb sticks/analogue sticks).

I will also ask my hand physiotherapist this but just posting this here, in case someone had a thought on how I can either organise my control scheme so I can play aspect of Hera etc.

Or any thoughts on how I can play faster without worrying about damaging my controller are appreciated.

Thank you to anyone kind enough to read this.

Content creator my good sir if you read this, as someone new to Hades thank you for all the content it helps immensely.

  3. I tend to use Dio for hera just bc I love the duo possibilities and the AoE. What this video kinda highlights is that its good to have strong supplemental damage in the attack to make up for the loss in DPS due to the slow regain time of trippy flare. One of the few builds where speccing into multiple damage sources is actually fruitful

  5. I stopped 2 minutes in the video to just try my first run with Hera since it must be good if you uploaded. Got Dionysus cast, then two duo booms from Demeter to inflict frost in the fog, then the one from Zeus to do lightning in the fog with that. Did crazy damage and cleared everything really quick. Got super lucky with two Duo boons though

  6. I've been having a lot of fun with Stygian Soul Trippy Flare builds on Hera. It works somewhat like a Crystal Beam build, where if you get lucky on Chaos cast boons you can snowball hard, but if you don't the run just drags. It's true that Achilles is similar with much bigger damage, but the nice thing about Hera is that you don't have to wait on the Trippy Flare lobs to land.

  7. At first i was like spamming dash strike is the best but when I finally touch cast weapon, I never look back. Achilles Spear, Hera Bow & that Dragon Rush shield forgot it's name is my personal fastest clearing weapon.
