  1. So, the bow is my favorite weapon. I've found the absolute crazy build for it is to use the Aspect of Hera and the mirror thing that gives you more casting shards. Then you can "load" your cast into your next bow shot. If you couple that with boiling blood from the mirror and an upgraded cast like Poseidon or Dionysus and just turn the bow into a rocket launcher. The main key to the bow is turning each and every shot into a devastating attack. Stacking an upgraded high damage cast with a damage boosting attack boon and you can slam people for over 500 damage per shot easy. Especially with the duo boon with Artemis and Sea-Daddy that makes every cast two casts.

  2. I mostly watch this series to see you improve and especially to see your reaction to dialogue. When you laughed so hard at the narrator dropping the spoiler bomb on zagreus, I went back and rewatched it a couple of times because of how joyous your laughter was.

  3. The pierced butterfly keepsake actually functions really well as a teacher for clearing rooms damageless. All damage is avoidable and the butterfly is a great incentive to act on that

  4. I really don't want to backseat too much, because this game has so so so much depth, and there are like a million little tricks and synergies that lead to optimal play but honestly…just have fun. One of the best things about Hades is that it isn't a game that demands "optimal" play to git gud (and you are already getting pretty good). Even when you're not talking all the time, it's really fun to watch you play and watch you learn the game.

…..But please, lord, break the golden pots. You've leaving so much money on the ground.

  5. It can be a bit repetitive. I guess the series can benefit a little from editing. Either way, the game really knows when and how to reveal new stuff, both in terms of lore and in terms of gameplay.

  6. It hurts me to see you skipping the hammer, it’s the only reward in the game that’s hard capped at 2 per run, which should tell you something about its power

  7. I think that you really should go back to normal death defiance and not use the sturdy version. Not only does it give you 3 charges when maxed out, but also restores you with more hp (1/2 rather than 1/3). I don't think I've ever seen you use sturdy defiance more than once before dying.

also, I've seen you leave encounters with like 10% hp – in such case, with sturdy defiance, it is much better to die before winning to heal to 1/3

  8. Frankly, I don't get all the hate for Theseus. Sure, he is pompous and arrogant, but he also seems to genuinely care for Asterius. Plus, all his innuendos about "thrusting his spear" and "brotherly bonds" (in various configurations) are hilarious 😀

  9. Oh God the cliff hanger! Will the chef cook the fish as a soup or in the oven with tomatoes and onions?
Find out in the next episode of "Divine Family Issues".

Edit : Also Skyen That Artemis call may did 1/4 of Hades first health bar.

  10. i get that tartarus is meant to be some sort of prison for the vile and elysium reward for the heroic and virtuous but I'm not sure how asphodel is supposed to work. They imply that its for people who weren't particularly good or bad but it seem to be worse than tartarus when it come to living conditions. I get that the flooding of phlegeton is a recent issue but they dont appear to be doing much to try to solve it and we arent told much about the area before that outside of being green plains (which would be like a worse elysium i guess, i would probably have made it a city personally but i was born a couple centuries to late to be in charge of that)

  11. to a degree i feel euredycise anger at orpheus is a bit unjustified. I agree with the general sentiment that things are over between them and that he need to stop sulking and try to move on instead of being whiny and clingy , and that's generally where their story shine in this game. but Euredyces side feels a bit self-righteous and petty as she is basically resentful that he failed a task that shouldn`t have been possible in the first place. She is presented in such a way that i even come to question if she was putting effort into that relationship or just wanted an excuse to leave. I would finish that she wouldn't be wrong for it, orpheus has plenty of issues personality wise, i just would be a bit disappointed if her issues with him boiled down to that one moment he was doomed to fail.

  12. Lol, you can tell Thanatos is such a massive tsundere.

"O-oh? A gift? For me? Then here, something for you. Not because I'm grateful or anything! If anyone asks say we're even. A-actually, no! Nevermind. If anyone asks don't mention anything! Baka!"

  13. Daemon is Greek, translating to "Messenger", either from the heavens or the underworld. The spelling and definition change came about when the word was adopted by the Christians when they spread amongst the Greek lands. Since Zagreus is a denizen of the Underworld going to the mortal realm, he is a Daemon from the perspective of Greek myth.

  14. ive found these videos just absolutely PERFECT for having on while im doing chores because during the more repetitive parts I can clean and focus on other things and then when new dialogue pops up I can take a break to sit down and take a look at what's happening – I've gotten more done in the past couple days since I started watching than I have for weeks!
