  1. Raki the White Raven has been seen in that Fountain Space 'Safe Room', in Erebus (where Toula the Golden Wildcat used to be seen when not at Ephyra's docks).

    Hecuba the Black Hound has been seen with Echo in the Mourning Fields.

  2. Issues with hex are:
    Not all are made equal. Summon, slow and polymorph are just… eh. Beams require upgrades and even then can miss. Darkside, Water and Leap are good on base.
    Then we get to RNG on selection, where best choice might be lowest "tier" and have least upgrades.
    Which gets us to upgrades, which you might not get. And even if you do get them, trees are randomized or decided by "rarity/tier" which… ain't great and can ruin planning.

    Aspect of Selene way, by having hex on start and then providing guaranteed upgrades(either on fountain or for free at pre-boss shops) might make it more streamlined, and allow people to play around with Hexes.

  3. Hey Haelian, long time fan, O.G. watcher. Just wanted to comment cause I had the most interesting glitch happen to me. I was using Ygnium with Aspect of Eos and during the run, I reached Echo and chose a boon from the previous night. I just so happened to get Apollo's legendary, Exceptional Talent. So here's where things got glitchy. Now whenever I charged the Omega attack, if I didn't release it after fully charging, i'd just stay doing the motion of releasing the Daybreaker but it never released, Mel would just repeatedly spam the attack animation while FLASHING unless I released the button. Here's the craziest part. Apollo's legendary breaks the Omega attack twice. Once because it launches TWO Daybreakers despite the limit of one but more fascinating is the fact that it STORES a second Daybreaker charge. So no matter what you do, your next attack press launches ANOTHER 2 Daybreakers.

  4. Looking at it entirely, all three DD give you an extra 120% effective health for all three + any excess from the attack that kills you + mana replenish
    Strength with its -50% damage gives you an extra 100% effective health + 25% extra damage + possible Athena boon
    Assuming it works how I've described, they're actually really similar in survivability. I like that there's an alternative to DD now. Strength's been really fun

  5. a few weeks before the update ive actually been experimenting a lot with the hexes since ive been getting kinda bored with the game and found them to be really fun and very different ways to play. total eclipse and moon water are still powerful but have become kinda boring after trying out the others. so far wolf howl is the only one that i still dont find enjoyable at all

  6. I'm looking forward to trying a run where I get Athena's DD return each room and then just use it over and over again and then hopefully get Hades boon that gives you extra power for every DD you've lost. That could get out of control.

  7. Y'know i like the music on Olympus, but it's very different from both the rest of the music in Hades II and in Hades I, so i feel like i notice it way more. I dunno if thats a weird thing to say or not.

  8. Am I blind or the animation changed for the returning specials (previously Hook Knives)? I don't see them coming back as it used to with the hammer, at least not the Ω special. Sometimes I noticed it came back with the regular special tho

  9. Just wanted to let you know, if you don't already, that Flick Knives uses the standard form of the special currently (as in, the Hook Knives variant). This makes it the most efficient way to emulate full Hook Knives this patch. Yes, I did pause a run to say this.

  10. I thought the portals on olympos that makeyou crashland take you higher up the mountain and that the doors are side rooms, kinda like how Tartarus has a way forward and other reward rooms that make the run longer. that would explain the shop vs. gold choice in the end

  11. plentiful forage nerf was fairly small epic used to be 10 and is now 8 I think and still 5 at common not sure if pom still bugged. I got it tonight as my second boon and with a spade I triggered it 20 times on the surface and 160 health is nice. Anything that gets you a lot of health is much better with the strength arcana card so was handy.

  12. About Selene, I'll prefer to have just 3 paths of 3 (stronger) Stars, and each Selene boon give only one star now.

    I see it like this :

    Path of Crescent Moon : Boon a1 –> Boon a2 –> Boon a3
    Path of Half Moon : Boon b1 –> Boon b2 –> Boon b3
    Path of Full Moon : Boon c1 –> Boon c2 –> Boon c3

    And each time you get a Selene Boon you choose witch path to go to.
    each Star should be "as strong as" a God boons. (Not broken, but a real boost for spell or stats, not just 1% speed.)
    With the Crescent / Half / Full boons giving you some bonus if you match the current Hex symbol (when you picked it.)
    And the bonus should be enough to incentive to go one path or another.

    The Selene keepsake give one free Selene Boons.
