  1. The Long Dark is hard (like real life wilderness survival) but it is so fun, immersive, and rewarding when you finally get it. There's no tutorial, but the story kinda walks you through basics. But that's a good thing. I don't know how to survive in the wilderness and part of the challenge is learning these things. That's why it's so hard. Very, very fun.

  2. First half of the year, when I had the money and all the free time, Nintendo : here's animal crossing. That's it. Nothing else.

Second half of the year, when I have little money and almost no free time thanks to grad school. Nintendo: Hades, Ori, Mario all stars pikman 3, new Zelda game, shadow drops galore! You get a direct every single month !!!

  4. You guys are now my most favorite channel for Nintendo Switch game reviews. You're very honest with your reviews. You're straight to the point & I appreciate that. Thank you.

  5. I was on the fence about Hades, but you convinced me by telling it is a trifecta! But without kidding, I might pick it up. I heard about a God Mode that makes it more forgiving (but not too easy) for less skilled players. There is a lot of praise for that game. I started playing West of Loathing this week and already had some hours of fun with it.

  6. Stopped after the neglected Nindies section just to write this:
I have to admit… Rogue-likes normally aren't my thing. I can enjpy some of them (Children of Morta for example) but Hades just pushes this Genre for me on an entire new level. Hope my wording makes sense lol
This Game is just SO good, it easily keeps up with AAA-Games for my playing time. I absolutely adore it and Supergiant deserves soso much credit for this game!

  7. I wish I could pick up Hades. I just got a small game last week called the Mario Collection and Pre ordered the new consoles this week. I might have to look for another place to play them if my wife saw another video game charge this week. But hey free games still work. Picked up Journey of the Broken Circle. Downloaded the RPG Maker MV player version. Plus the new games added to the NES and SNES online including DK Country 2. One of my all time favs. That should hold me over for the next few weeks and will pick up Hades down the road.
