We're live again for day 3 of Hades 2! Come say hi! http://twitch.tv/haelian
For point of reference, how much more content did super giant had post EA in Hades 1?
Also I would imagine the save from EA won't carry over to final release right ?
the hades encounter was so cute
Loveeeee you! (Can you number vids in the order of uploads cuz it’s hard to know which order to watch on YouTube apps on my tv) 💋
My balls have never been so blue 😅
The art for Hades is unfinished I’ve seen another character elsewhere that also has the same art style
I love static shock on blades cuz the cost of omegas are low and pairing it with any attack boon makes the dmg go up pretty crazy.
Haelian! Been subbed for a few years. I watch your stuff pretty consistently but for the first time with this game, I want to play it for myself and not get spoiled by watching others play. I am only commenting bc you’ve been a staple on my tv for a while and I’m sad to give your vids a break. Hope you’re enjoying the Hades II. Catch ya later! ❤️💚
they're definitely nerfing cast builds
yo in the axe run, how did he cancel the attack sequence into the omega attack? I can't omega attack without first doing the slow 3rd attack…
This was insane
You inspired me to try a cast build and I went further than I had last time on the last boss (about the same as you in this run). Mine was a scorch cast build that really got started once I got the boon that makes scorch dmg instantly after 300 dmg have accumulated. I got it to lvl 6 too by the end so it was dealing something like 105/110% of scorch dmg at once.
It was super safe but super slow up to Tartarus (I think I lost like 60 health to Cerberus despite the fight taking forever xD), and in Tartarus I decided to do every room before going to the end, and while it cost me a death defiance on the very last one, it got me two Daedalus hammers in a row that gave me a monstrous special that would one-shot any amount of armor and be spammed in front of me (I was playing with the torches). On top of that the range is so much longer than the normal attack, it was the perfect complement to spam from outside the screen in between omega casts. Sadly I hadn't taken the card that increase dmg within the cast which was stupid but I forgot, maybe I'd have saved that death defiance for the last boss if I had it.
Still thanks for the inspiration, I'm having tons of fun right now. My only complaint is that the runs feels like they require more endurance and are longer than in Hades 1, so I take more breaks in between them since I started reaching the second to last boss. What I learned is that if I'm relying on a non spammable cast or don't have a lot of AoE, I really need something to get rid of the armor to make Tartarus 10 times easier.
The styling of 4 as “IIII” instead of “IV” is usually found on…clock faces. Probably to avoid casual or hasty confusion for “VI.”
Since you mentioned wanting to get in on Cerberus before his AoEs go off, you might want to know that the designs filling up inside those AoE indicators are a timer for when they go off.
Strange. I've made it through 13 runs now – faced Chronos twice so far, but never seen Eris. It really must be a curse.
The Torches have actually become one of my favorite weapons. I just had a really great run with them with Zeus on the Special and just running through enemies. I also got the Demeter Zeus duo which is particularly insane with that weapon!
I've started consistently beating the floor 4 boss and I gotta say some weapons are just way better than others
Is it just me or is this game actually just more difficult than hades. I mean, I know we’ve been playing Hades for years and this is new but I’m actually struggling to get winning runs, and there’s not even heat added.
You know, I was not expecting the return of Tiny Vermin.
As a note, Echo, as she stated in this run, is cursed. In the original Myth, she was cursed by Hera to only be able to say the last words spoken to her. She's literally incapable of saying anything unique. (and I get the feeling that she's an Oread (mountain nymph) because mountains were probably the mot prominent source of echos in ancient Greece)
Melinoe: "You leave that dog alone"
Haelian: "Imma eat it's corpse"…
Slightly different views there
Down to the wire.
Hard to tell, but is Chronos immune to the Omega-charge slowdown? Cool detail if so!
Can someone PLEASE HELP. Ive been trying to get out of being inable to read data on Hades 2. Ive tried everything and im guessing its because of my NordVPN, but idk if the game, steam, my computer, or nord is the problem for not being able to save data. I WANT TO PLAYY
They’re going to decimate the Zeus omega cast next patch it’s too good
15:13 I love hating this guy too.
Best is Apollo cast, and duo boon with Zeus for more cast damage. There is additional Demeter cast damage but I don’t like it because it moves the cast as I move – I like to put down cast and run away. There is also an additional Icarus additional damage on cast but you don’t see him often. Cast does huge damage and it’s cheap to cast omega.
How do i avoid Eris's blessing? Her boon is terrible.
Finally got my first clear and did it with the axe. Had to have 400 health to do it, but I got it done haha. The 15 dmg limit boon probably helped as well. 13 max health for every gather was nice haha.
Nemesis is the god of being a hater.
It’s a 4 in Greek not in Roman numerals that’s why it’s 4 lines instead of IV, in Tartarus I mean on the quick path to Cronos! So yes it is just a 4 you don’t have to read between the lines
I've never seen Eris after like 12 hours so far, definitely seems like something to stop you from going too fast. But it's strange, because some surface stuff references her, and even then I was like… who the hell is Eris?
an-tih-gone-ist, huh?
I love Chronos look, he has the best design out of all of them.
Anything that is not hammers or boons are indeed minor finds
Apollo's special with anything that reduces omega cost/channel on the axe hard carries. No-hit the sirens easily, made it all the way on like my 3rd axe run. Arachne's magick regen robe helped a ton too, her keepsake has been my go-to so far.
Just had a run that i managed to keep Arachne's dress until the end. Didn't help with Chronos, I'll get him soon.
Man, that Eris thing sucks. I'm going to hold off until full release when they've had a chance to not be so heavy handed and have a more finessed balance.
as I have seen the vids and tried the early access, I haven't seen haphaestus for a while. his build is prolly one of the best when I have tried it with daggers.
Ran into the tiny vermin on my 2nd or 3rd run, very glad i could kill him once again
