  1. It is hard to predict deceit when you are so far above everyone else.
That is the reason why Ouranos fell so easily to Gaea's plot and why Kronos ate a boulder instead of Zeus.
Kronos learned from his mistakes but Chaos is so immune to consequence that he simply can't fathom deceit.

  2. The character literally states outright that they are very displeased about being deceived, yet everyone here keeps saying they dont care.

How would they be upset if they didnt care?

Can y'all stop forcing your own headcanon on the character?

  3. Chaos is not stupid, it's more like Chaos is so far outside of everything that from this distance everything becomes equal and only by oberserving something out of the ordinary, Chaos recognizes indifferences. Also Chaos can't be too close to creation or otherwise the mere interaction would cause everything to be erased from reality. Oberserving, being curious and granting some boons but still being far away is the only thing Chaos can do. Chaos even if they appear careless don't want creation to end and hold sympathie towards creation. That's why they can't get involved and based on what we know from the first game, Chaos is conflicted because Chaos cares about certain individuals like Nyx or Zag. As naive as it may be, when Chronos contacted Chaos, it was a child of creation talking to the parential figure that birthed creation, just like a child asking one of the parents on the playground for chocolate.

  4. I know this is not at all the point of the video, but dang Chaos got a glow up from the last game. Not to say that their look in the original game was bad, but this one is just fabulous

  5. Chaos isn't stupid. Try Wildly curious and/or Unknowingly experimental. They didn't know what Chronos would kidnap the fates for his own means, but it's shown that they're relatively indifferent to the outcome. Chaos is chaos, and the fates now don't have the chance to screw with peoples lives (both mortal and immortal). While they were deceived thanks to their general lack of care making them unused to noticing clear signs of ill-willed intent, they're looking at every possibility, there's just ones they haven't considered just yet.

Do they not care? I'm doubtful, since Chaos expressed their displeasure at the action of being tricked. Emotion in the more negative spectrum are just a bit new for them.

  6. "Do you think we have free will?"
"Your children are being held hostage"
"I told him where they were, because I wanted to see if I had free will. And also, he asked nicely."
"He was lying to your gods-damned face you idiot"
    "Oops."

  7. Chaos: i didn't understand deceit.

Comment section: it's not that chaos didn't know about deceit its that theyre removed from the actions and consequences of reality and they're inconsistent in their actions!!!

How about we let the game speak for itself?

  8. Sorta irrelevant, but I am deeply in love with Chronos' design in this game. The gold mended cracks along his obsidian skin is so inspired, considering both his love for money in game and the fact his body was spread and seperated in the pits of Tartarus. All of the artwork in this game is so gorgeous!!
