► Hades 1.0 Full Release Story Synopsis
Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.
As the immortal Prince of the Underworld, you’ll wield the powers and mythic weapons of Olympus to break free from the clutches of the god of the dead himself, while growing stronger and unraveling more of the story with each unique escape attempt.

Fight on! 🙂
Put abit more titan blood in the bow
Patroclus the absolute MVP saves the day again
58:00 I am pretty sure that the eldest Greek Gods (the ones that had Kronos as their father, so Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, and Hestia) never had a problem with their mother Rhea. She objected to her husband eating her children and when Zeus, her youngest child was born she gave Kronos a rock or some other decoy disguised as her baby. Zeus got raised by nymphs into adulthood and then either slashed his father's gut open to let everyone out or forced him to drink a foul concoction that made him vomit everyone out in reverse order. Off the top of my head Rhea seems to not appear in any other myths/legebds, so this is all that we have to go on.
I think the idea is that Artemis is physically attracted to Aphrodite, but appalled by Aphrodite's personality.
11:20 "Inconvenience fee" is correct from your perspective.
Hey welonz! Some tips:
In order to unlock the hidden aspects you need to spend at least 5 titan blood in its corresponding weapon.
Some of the hammer upgrades are not compatible with certain aspects or with other hammer upgrades so in order to unlock all the upgrades the best you can do is look up the missing upgrades and see what it can't appear with.
And yes practicing the lyre does improve your skill.
34:30 "The butterfliers."
36:15 Wrong. I bet the crystal beam is extremely useful agianst the shield guys if you place the beams and then dash behind the shield guys so they have you on one side and the beam in their backs.
49:00 Would work against Theseus too. But because you and the beams were on the same side he blocked them the entire time.
wow, that was close haha
I don't know if you know this or not, but there is a difference between dash and dash-attack in terms of invincibility-frames. When you do dash-attack your i-frames are reduced, so for avoiding damage, avoid doing dash-attack and just do dash. I think this is why you were getting hit so much today.
Regarding when to stop – there is more story to quest which persephone gave you(growing closer to the olympian gods), if you don't mind playing for a bit more, the end to that storyline might be a good point.
All right, you managed to get some of the Crystal Beam goodies you were missing out on! Crystal Clarity in particular is one of the best boons for making the beam practical in general.
Just found this channel looking for Undertale playthroughs. You are pretty funny bro.
Oh, for the record, you don't have to finish a trove once you've started it. You can just peace outta there if it doesn't look worth it.
i think i’d play the lyre three or four times each run and it definitely improves eventually! keep at it,
practice practice :))
Lightning rod is probably better than crystal beam anyway, 70 per second and it doesnt track slowly. Hits shield guys too.
Could you have set up the crystal beams in the Hades fight and then just kept out of his way except when you needed to start them again? It looks like the only risk came from you wanting to hit him too.
Can you do a no heat run, trying to go as fast as you can?
The thing about story progress is that you've been clearing most of the runs you've done. So in some ways you moved quicker than others. There are two big story events throughout the game (as far as I know) and I think you've seen only one. To that end even a run that ends in dying prematurely might progress the story.
Lastly, you're doing really well with how often you survive!
Keep it up! Hopefully you can also figure out how to get into Persephone's secret plan.
Hi Welonz, just want to suggest you try and lose to bosses you never lost to before, you don't have to win every run to move some of the characters' stories 🙂
I think you were just having a bad day with the dodging, it happens, sometimes no matter how much you try to focus it just doesn't work. You still did it though and considering the heat you're playing at, that's amazing. Also Crystal Clarity is indeed awesome for the beam, almost too powerful when you're playing at lower heat levels.
Hades aspect is really strong and really fun. Huge Spin+Fast Spin hammer upgrades clean entire rooms in a single sweep. Probably my favorite melee weapon in the game.
Oh, and I should mention this: the spear sweep attack can be activated by dodging out of the charging stance too, you don't have to stand still until you release the attack button.
Lightning Rod is specifically devastating if you get Static Discharge and Double Strike, and especially if you somehow also manage Artemis' legendary and have five bloodstones to play with. Ideally you want a cast that doesn't get lodged in (though Aspect of Poseidon might make that not a problem). the one time I ended up on a Lightning Rod build I think I had Phalanx Shot, which does get lodged, but can be launched directly into a pillar, and then left to its own devices until it comes back. even more ideally you would want Ares, Dionysus, or Poseidon Dash because you'll mostly be running around letting Lightning Rod do its thing and setting it back up when needed. If properly set up, you seldom if ever need to use Attack or Special.
