Hades is a roguelike action role-playing video game developed and published by Supergiant Games. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2020, which followed an early access release from December 2018. Players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape from Underworld to reach Mount Olympus, at times aided by gifts bestowed on him from the other Olympians. Each run challenges the player through a random series of rooms populated with enemies and rewards, and the player uses a combination of their main weapon attack, dash power, and magic ability to defeat them while avoiding damage to progress as far as possible. While Zagreus will often die, the player can use gained treasure to improve certain attributes or unlock new weapons and abilities to improve chances of escaping on subsequent runs.

Why didn't Zeus chill out when he first hit you after you first-picked Ares' boon? Maybe Demeter's chill-on-damage boon has a bug? : )
Just when you think that you've seen every mechanic it still finds a way to throw you another game changer.
for keybinding try swap your codex button and reload button with each other also you were relying too much on your main attack you need more movement, in the last fight you should be moving in a circle and keep moving , learn when to stop and fire then keep moving but dont stop for long enough to empty your entire clip thats too long in one place

Pally please don't focus your builds around only your attack or your special. You're limiting your options here significantly. And usually they complement each other. Like doom on your special will make clearing rooms a breeze with the gun. Love the vids pally so keep it up!!

you should get someone else to read for you, it seems like a real struggle
if you check at 7:44 percent damage increases to attack/special usually doesnt effect flat damage boons (was still 13 per hit) like zeus, dionysus and ares boons (not even the cast stuck bonus). which is why they are generally worse for scaling damage with a few exceptions (like flat damage on a fast attack speed)
there is no downside to a Thanatos encounter btw – you get the room rewards regardless
if you win he just gives you a Centaur Heart in addition
Hey Pally, you can use your current darkness for other upgrades on the mirror, you can take the darkness back later on when you aquire the amount you need for the death defiance. Better invest to your hard skin for now rather than leaving it there.

If you want to know anything in the game, the codex is your best friend. You can look up every single boon in the game by looking at the codex entry of all the Olympians (and chaos/daedalus) and the most important thing is, it also shows you what boon you need to get before being able to get the one you want. For example: to get the duo boon from Demeter and Zeus you need one of many boons from Demeter but you specifically need the Zeus "Jolted" boon and to get the jolted boon in the first place you need at least one boon with lightning effect.
That's pretty much the best way to get what you want in a run.
so…i dunno if you ever used it, but the ares aid call is pretty boss. perfect "oh shit!" button giving free damage and invincibility for a long time with max gauge.
Hey Pally, I bought this game thanks to these videos. Made it all the way to the last boss on my 3rd run, it was nuts. I had the sword with the hammer upgrade to get +2 hp on every Attack. Combined with Aphrodite boon for my Attack to apply Weak and I applied a Doom around me when I got hit. Game was not prepared for this, Zag was telling Cerberus that he needed to find his mom before he even learned Nyx was not his real mom.
48:00 – Tip for the spin – You can hold down the spin to charge and dash and release at the same time, thus your spin moves forward just like how Hades does it in the final fight.
Now that you have unlocked the weapon aspect, I strongly advise looking at all of them since some are more drastic changes then others, for example, one of the forms for the gun weapon makes it so you deal bonus damage if you are standing in the blast radius of it's special, also if you want more titans blood, you will need to complete a run

Yo, Next time you play the Rail do yourself a favor and get the Daedalus special that gives you 5 shots but -30% damage and the special upgrade that makes your special a rocket, Dear god it might be one of the coolest things in the game imo
This is the one I had such fun with. Got a 6 rocket shot with crit and 5 shot asterius. Such a satisfying weapon they did a great job I hope they keep adding to this game!

Titan blood is the most coveted asset in the game careful how you spend it.
The Aspect of Achilles upgrade is definitely one of my favorites though, you won't regret that upgrade.

Every god has a duo boon with another god. Certain requirements are needed for some/most.
Also focus on renovating the lounge. Cerberus' hair and what not.
As someone who just got the game recently and beat the final boss for the first time, I can proudly say the gun is super underwhelming in pretty much every aspect.. It saddens me to see such a cool tool just be so ineffective in the 3rd area because it doesn't have any innate way to stunlock like the other weapons so it can't prevent the soul jars from reforming by just attacking them. That and the little suicide chariots just make you look like a joke with it.
Episode 13, Paly still does not have a fucking clue, you CAN'T HAVE 2 BOONS on one "skill". If you have chain ligthning on attack, you cant have doom, deflect, knockback or anything else.
Its weird that pally isnt playing baldurs gate 3

Pally u need to put 5 blood into non zagreus aspects to unlock the legendary spear which is needed to unlock the other legendary weapons.
