Hades [1.0 Heat WR] – Unseeded 56 Heat – Aspect of Rama

Turns out the real strat is forgetting to lose your SD in an Athena chamber like a dummy and going into EM4 with just the default SD (and then not taking Sure Footing for some reason. Seriously, Deathless Stand without the actual extra SD is a waste, I needed to slow down and actually use my brain there)

Super ideal hammers here, though. Great phase 1 dad summons, too; I’m always thankful for a distinct lack of butterflies. Killing Freeze acting as a Forced Overtime downgrade for most of that final fight was REALLY nice. Finally changed to Battie and still forgot to use it for the entire Hades fight.

Sorry for the pauses in phase 3, I had some trouble actually collecting myself and keeping calm for obvious reasons.

  1. So the only conditions you don't have maxed are routine inspection (2 out of 4) and approval process (1 out of 2), right? It's kind of hard to make out from pausing the video because you go through the pact so fast. I think that's slightly different from your 55 heat clear where you didn't max out calisthenics program. Are you going to keep trying to clear higher and higher heats after this, and if so what condition would you add next? Really impressive work here, I'm kind of in awe of it to be honest. Congrats on the new world record!

  2. Tailesque, fantastic run. You were on another level in elysium. It's as if you entered a flow state. You were playing melee style amid the waves of enemies but still avoiding damage. Incredible. But in styx room miniboss room #1, shouldn't you have purposefully lost your stubborn defiance in the athena room? That way you would've had 2 defiances. (Edit: I just read you video description.) Also, either you were either getting super lucky against hades' spins or you've figured out a damage-free zone in them in phase 1. I'm inclined to think it's the latter after repeatedly witnessing your virtuoso skill. Also, you didn't use meg against hades. (Edit: Also mentioned in video description.) Finally, rama's damage numbers occasionally don't make sense to me. Ex: 2 rama dash-attacks before final rama dash-attack of phase 2. Why are there 3 numbers? Also 1307 vs 1232? Neither is 60% of either. Another ex: final rama dash attack. The damage calculations are unusual sometimes. Also, does triple shot have some kind of hidden negating ability similar to repulse hammer upgrade? At times, it feels like it stops enemy attack animations. In any case, congrats on the new world record.

  3. GG man!!!!!!!!!! I loved it, no gimmicks just pure skill, the only thing you really got lucky with was the hammers, Amazing use of Rama.
that Cerberus call Hades used was straight up BS and it cost you the death defiance, usually that spot were you stood is safe but even when you backed out it got you, unlucky but still pulled it off.
