Hades 2: But UP

Hades 2 is still in Beta, but that doesn’t mean a lack of content. in fact, there’s an entire second story happening on Mount Olympus. With the Olympic update, we check out the newest weapons, boons and bosses added to the game.

  1. I'm sorry, Hades 2 is such a good game and it deserves every bit as many views as the 1235th Elden Ring run. I wasn't expecting you to like the torches, so I was actually really pleasantly surprised–I have a feeling you would really like the Eos ones.

  2. 44:48 yeah, iirc that story is a made up moral thing to teach American kids so that they’re more honest or something.

I decided to google it to see what the exact origin was: according to the Mt. Vernon website it was a story that first appeared in the 5th edition of a George Washington biography, so apparently it was a story made up to sell more biographies.

  3. haven't played Hades at all, but form my experiance with a lot of other roguelikes, the mechanics of activley making you lose early run if you do well seems so shitty, i get that there is a story, but if you get some waht lucky and adapt to the game fast then the game says you are being too lucky and or too good and kills your run becuaes of that, it just doesn't feel like a good gameplay mechnic to me, obviously i don't know how it actually feels in game since i haven't played a game that tryies to debuff you for playing well early on.

this might also have something to do with the fact that i'm very much so a Story second if even that type of player, if the game feels good and i get invested in it after beating it once then i might go look up the story, but while playing the game if the story actively hinders the gamplay then i just skip it complately, as i don't really care much for it if i'm playing the game, when in most cases after i'm done playing i can just look up a video or something on the story and lore to actually understand it. But that is only if i liked the game enough based on gameplay, since a good story will not make a game good for me, it can only make it better after the fact.

  4. I can't wait until I can sit down and play this game myself. Hades was one of my favorite games in recent years and I have no doubt that the sequel will match it. Until then, I will experience vicariously through TulokTime

  5. Excellent Video, and I am not going to say how you are sleeping on the skulls(they are my favorite but I get they are odd), but the Special with the Skull is so much fun, it is how I beat Chronos the first time… before he got nerfed the first time xD

Still, absolutely love seeing you play this game! the Hades Games are just… so fun!

  6. Phil I'm slowly going over to this channel compared to the elden ring runs. I can really tell you have much more passion and motivation having fun with other games compared to ER. I hope this channel really blows up
