01:50 Hey that's me! Thanks for the shout-out!
I discovered you a few months back ago from your video on The Dig. Anyone who digs (pun intended) The Dig is good in my books!
I'm sorry to hear that October was terrible for you, and happy belated birthday!
Hades reminds of Blood of Zeus on Netflix. Anywho, happy belated birthday 😊😊😊
What when is your birthday ???wow I missed that one ?.?.?.? Lol my birthday is Nov4
This getting dark at 5:30pm is BS. Great way to make people depressed.
All I've been playing lately is Persona 5 Royal
Great video
Azure Dreams hyyyyyyyyyyype!
You are beautiful, courage for the strange bad moments in life !
Happy belated birthday! Love your videos! Thank you!

Oh no sorry, biut happy birthday Pam.

Happy late birthday, sorry it didn't go well. Hope things are looking up.
you might love realms of impossibility on c64
Excited to see that LucasArts video you said you're working on!
Hey have you played blood omen series or Legacy of lain series Epic !
I'm leaving a thumbs up, because yay! but I'm quitting out halfway through because I don't want any more Hades spoilers…
Happy birthday! my birthday is in October too! on the 14th. Cool to see someone talk about Hades, I really like Supergiant games ever since I played Bastion. The only early access game I ever bought was Subnautica, I just really like the devs. Same, if you want me to pay money for your game, finish it first.
Hey, it was my birthday at the beginning of the month, too!
Sorry to hear you had a lousy birthday. I hope you have a better November to make up for that. Also thanks for talking about Songbird and Hades. I’ve only had a slight interest in those games, but maybe I’ll take the plunge next time they’re on sale.
Recently I’ve been playing the Bioshock series again. Bioshock 2 is my favorite in the series, but I’ve been avoiding it all these years because the remastered version had a problem with crashing. I played the 360 version expecting it to be the same and to my surprise, it ran remarkably well! There was not a single crash throughout the entire play through and I only experienced one glitch towards the end that I guess soft locked my game. An event is supposed to trigger dialogue and open a door but it never did. I had to restart the level, but it was no problem. Those later levels are pretty short. I even played Minerva’s Den for the first time. It was pretty good! I liked how you get weapons and abilities in a different order forcing you into a sort of stealthy play style early on.
I played through the first game afterwards and it’s still as fun as I remember despite knowing the plot twist. As much as I love Bioshock 2, the story and environments are better in the first game. But 2 is way more fun to play.
I’m playing through Infinite now. It’s alright. Playing the first two games first makes me miss the big, sprawling levels of Rapture. And the weapon wheel. It was impressive the first time I played through it, but subsequent playthroughs made me realize just how pretentious the story is and just how railroaded the gameplay is. Shootouts are still fun, but there’s way too much downtime in between. Also, the AI is kinda dumb. They’ll just stand there waiting to die most of the time. And now that I’ve beaten the game a few times before, the story gets in the way more than anything. Well, except for Elizabeth. She’s constantly blocking doors for me.
I’m patiently waiting for the Dishonored collection to go on sale again. I passed on it earlier this year because money was a bit tight, but now that I got a few bucks, I’m itching to play those games and Prey. Just not for $80. Maybe for Black Friday.
Anyway, thanks for sharing and I hope you have an excellent November!
You have the Quest for Glory Anthology collection and Planescape Torment on your shelf. For that alone, you will reap great blessings and have a great November.
This October, I've been trying out the Demo for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, I played The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny and AVGN I & II Deluxe.
I picked up Signal Ops on hallowen sale its a rather underated indie old school tactics (Inspired by Commandos series) game.
I totally reccomend it.
Happy Birthday 🎉👍
I'm sorry October sucked. I hope things go good in November to make up for it. You deserve to be happy.
100% agree on your early access policy. "you want me to test your game, pay me" absolutely
I got a lot of games physically last month all for my PS4. I started with Star Wars: Squadrons and Metro Exodus then got Watch Dogs: Legion at months end. Digitally my big purchases were the Command and Conquer Remastered Collection and Steel Division 2 along with many DLCs for it. On the Switch Eshop I got the Deathtrap Dungeon Trilogy, Doom 64, the Double Dragon and Kuniokun Retro Brawler Collection, and Flashback.
On PS4 I started with a run through Star Wars Squadrons and ran through the single player mode. The story had some interesting twists and I found some parts of the ending surprising. I wish it had gone into more detail on the backgrounds of some of the other pilots though.
I then moved onto Metro: Exodus. I didn’t like it very much. This was my first exposure to the games and if this is what they are like I have no idea why they are so highly rated. Its like the creators can’t decide if they want to be realistic or not. They leave out the hud but they have things like enemy’s spawning when you enter rooms. (I’ve checked the area around the entrance to buildings to make sure no enemies are around before entering only to find myself grappled as soon as I step inside and I could swear there have been times enemies just appear out of nowhere behind me while I’m trying to sneak through an area to avoid fighting) I was planning to start Watch Dogs: Legion in October but RL complications delayed that until early November.
I lost power on October 27th and didn’t get it back until early November. This led to me playing my handhelds until the batteries ran dry trying to keep from going insane with boredom. My Vita’s battery stopped holding its charge so I started playing Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony on my PSP. I played as the Shadowstalker because she seems to be the Rogue type. Attribute wise I focused on building her strength and stamina with the occasional point in agility. Skill wise I focused on the dual wielding skill with some points to boost the blink attack which teleports in for a surprise melee strike. She wields two daggers, or a dagger and a one handed blunt weapon for close quarters fighting and a bow for ranged battle. I selected the hooded archer as my first follower.
On 3DS I picked up my latest Earthbound playthrough. I thought I was closing in on the first sanctuary but I actually still had to defeat the first boss to unlock the path to the sanctuary. I made it into Threed before the battery died.
For Switch I spent most of the month playing the Double Dragon and Kuniokun Retro Brawler Collection. I played all of the games in the collection but spent most of the time on Downtown Special: Kunio-kun's Historical Period Drama. It took me a little while to get used to the differences between how stat growth works in this and how it works in River City Ransom, I’m at a point I have no clue what I’m supposed to be doing, and the world map system makes less sense to me then any other NES game I can think of but of all the originally Japanese exclusive games in the collection this is the one I wish had come out while dad was alive the most because we would have had a blast with it.
I also spent a lot of time on the Deathtrap Dungeon trilogy. Its three old Fighting Fantasy gamebooks converted to video game form. This is good except the game forces you to play the books in order. I owned all three when I was a kid but my copy of the second got destroyed before I completed it so I was hoping to skip to book two. To make it even more annoying any level ups you gain in a book are erased before the next book along with any items or resources you obtained that weren’t the result of passing the previous book. I played a Skill focused Rogue (All challenges in the game are based on rolling your Skill dice or your luck dice but Skill also determines hits in combat) and beat the first two books. After some horrid luck with random finds in book three I decided I will need to start again someday.
I got Doom 64 early in the month but didn’t start playing it seriously until the blackout. I made it to the final level but haven’t beaten it yet. Its fun but is far more puzzle focused then other Doom games, and some times I get bored trying to find out what I need to do with no active enemies left. I also played Flashback some during the power outage. I had forgotten how the controls are the player’s most dangerous opponent in that game. Seriously the majority of my problems in the game come from difficulties with the controls.
I'm right there with you when it comes to games that can be completed so you can move onto the next one. That's why my "roguelike phase" is basically over, despite everyone saying how great Hades is. While I had a ton of fun with the Hammerwatch games, Rogue Legacy, Monolith, and Nuclear Throne, sinking hours into games that can't really be fully beaten just seems impossible with my schedule these days. Heck, the same goes for online multiplayer and battle royale games. I was done with Fall Guys after getting that first crown.
Yeah, November isn't going to be much better. If you can avoid the rona, it might be decent.
Happy shitty Belated Birthday gorgeous, hope things get better for you, and frankly all of us. Oh and if you like Hades and Greek Mythology, watch the Blood of Zeus animated series on Netflix.
Happy birthday! Sorry that this month want the best.. I hope things get better soon!
I almost completed Sonic Adventure on P.S.3. But Stuck on Sonic Sonic's Story
So glad you got a copy of Azure Dreams! That was my recommendation and one of my favorite games, so I really hope you enjoy it (despite what flaws and limitations it does have lol) and it would be great to see a review of it if you decide to do that as well!
Also, I think I remember in another one of your monthly update videos that I watched (slowly making my way through those) that you said you sometimes do a thematic sort of thing with your makeup or outfit. This one looks particularly thematic. Is it to match something from Hades or one of the other games you talked about? Looks great!
It would be great if videogames could be preserved. Things like concept art etc. It's just as important and interesting as the games themselves.
It reminds me of Diablo 2 and how they lost the code and assets completely and couldn't find it, and that's why a remake might be unlikely to happen. They'd have to rebuild all the assets from scratch, if i recall correctly.
Just keep holding up like the button on your shirt.
Totally agreed about songbird, I played with my 5 yr old and it was reallyyy off putting for her to hear the miss prompt every time the boss songs happened. Platforming wise it wasn't perfect but overall a decent experience for parent child combo n finished it over 7 days 1 hour sessions each time.
hi PAM. i was wondering, why not do more videos discussing your life, especially your love life and related things rather than usual games and shit. i mean, your fan base will get even bigger, i assure you!
“ even though it’s going to be cold and terrible, just trying to stay positive.” Lol 😂
Yay libra sister! Hang in there! Btw have you ever considered voice acting???
I never played bloodlines
Красавица)))
BOOBA!
Hi, Pam. Nice that you like Hades. I like that game as well.
