Bought this game because of you guys, love your content. Also minecraft dungeons and grounded. You guys are always go to for info and tips. Keep it up, ill keep spending my money on games you guys make look amazing lol
hi I’m still waiting on the sign up sheet
30:27 Anyone want to do this with me😍💋 💝💖♥️❤️
Hi Boys 😍💋 💝💖♥️❤️
Can you make a part 2 and 3 that would be very helpful
You are really good at this man! Keep it up!
A big mechanic to note is that as soon as you press attack during a dodge, you lose your invincibility!
Time those attacks properly!
great points can't fault you on that
minor thing though hades is the god of the dead and afterlife
Thanatos is the god of death
there's probably some symbolism that him and his brother Hypnos are the only times humans lay still and unmoving for long periods of time but I'm neither ancient Greek nor the biggest greek pantheon historian
I heard that the butterfly was crap… ugh conflicting accounts.
Sword of arthur with hermes keepsake
Totally agree with all of these! Personally though, I really like Achille's gift. -30% taken damage goes a longg way
"Didnt kill hades in undere ten runs so i figured out what i was doing wrong"
thats pretty depressing. im on 25 runs and just now got past the hydra thingy
Thinking about it as someone who has defeated Hades a few times at this point the Pierced Butterfly tip is really nice. It could definitely allow me to take on harder runs as I have learned a lot more. And thinking about it I do agree with the thought that you generally don't get hit too much early on so it's just a benefit.
45 runs always reach hades cannot defeat him
Use the butterfly, shows a clip of taking damage. Hm.
It’s roguelike not rougelike…
Duuuuude! Spoilers in the first second of this video!
Good video, but as a reminder on Hades boss, he summons numerous minions which pile on can be a nightmare to deal with. Have multiple target attacks isn’t always a bad thing on the final boss.
"Are-ees"
Being too aggresive and not taking advantage of your Cast are the only "big mistakes" I see here. The rest are just tips.
You’re incorrect about calling Hades the God of Death at 5:33. He’s the god of the underworld, that means he rules over the dead, doesn’t mean he’s the god of death, that title belongs to Thanatos.
remember aoe skills are beneficial against hades cause he summons adds, specially if you play +4 measures when hades is putting out minibosses
Not trying to being toxic or anything but this seems like a video made by beginner. Most of these tips seem random and just your opinion. For instance the thanatos keepsake is okay but for sure not one of the best and it's a nieche keepsake at best as well. So to the people watching the most importent things to consider is build paths, which doors to take and how to deal damage while not getting damaged yourself ofcourse there comes alot with this but you'll learn this out yourself. I'd also recommend watching jawless paul he's been playing since the start and is a very good and insightfull player. Srry for the long ramble xd
"Every weapon has a ranged component…" – Laughs in Gauntlets. Who needs a ranged component if everything dies so quickly?
The butterfly gets in the way of competing lists. 🙁
Pierced butterfly is good, but to the ones who usually take a lot of damage the broken spearpoint is the best option.
"over a dozen" 24 is over a dozen yes it is 2 dozens
ahhh….I get it now. I usually never go for buffs for healing/less damage taken. I always went for more aggression/more damage given…..Thanks for this video brother. I'll take what I just learned, and put it in action. Great Video!
The pierced butterfly is… Okay. It definitely has an effect, but unless you're really good at the game, other keepsakes like the hourglass (from Charon) and the cthonic coin purse (from hypno) are excellent for getting a head start and providing a huge amount of survivability, while also giving the player the option to switch off of those keepsakes. Though I will have to say the pierced butterfly is a decent way to practice a more deliberate, careful play style
Mentions Athena and Aphrodite, but misses all the dodge from Hermes?
If the butterfly gets swapped later in the run does the damage buff stay?
Kinda shakes my confidence of your experience with the game with how you say ‘Arreez’. It says his name every other time you grab his boon or use his call
Getting a reflect dash almost always makes the run significantly easier
> spear is slow and not good enougth for Dionysis boons
> shows literally that its fast for stack all five hangover with it
Imagine not taking Dusa's feather duster
The biggest mistake I made would be the blade weapon upgrade. The one the give me +2 heal per hit is usually a terrible choice. And maxhealth is far more important than I expect. Probably because I'm more into utility than anything. I'm only on 16 heat, so I'm not sure how it would work in higher heat situation.
Pierced butterfly is a fun but gimmicky play style and probably average to above average. If you are struggling to do full clears you should avoid that one entirely. Pick a boon you want to start, coin purse for act 2 and most importantly throw on the broken spearpoint for act 3 and either that or the extra life for act 4 and it will save you a ton of trouble.
rogue LITE super LITE
"Rougelike"
Rougelike.
ROUGELIKE.
Ugh.
I for one often get clumsy on the run, so Pierced Butterfly seems like a no go if you still want to enjoy the variety in the mid 10-60hrs of gameplay.
Taking the butterfly will not allow you to take other artifact for the rest of your run. I suggest new players to unlock majority of artifacts to its highest rank first, then you can hit a sweetspot according to your boons and the mirror power.
Pierced Butterfly alternative : focus on Dionysus to get the Strong Drink Boons. It will give you 3-5% damage bonus per fountain you found… so if you lucky enough to get it on Tartarus, then you can have the average of 20% damage bonus while having full health before facing Hades.
Then focus on Damage Reduction Boons (Dionysus, Aphrodite). Use the Skull Earring on the last stage for additional 30% dmg bonus while your Hp is below 40%, combine it with alot Centaur Hearts if you prefer that (I once have 430ish of Hp, so the threshold of the Skull Earring can be easily achieved).
My favourite build is definitly with Varatha, Aspect of Guan Yu, with almost a full artemis boon buil with Serrated Point from a Daedalus Hammer. There's a chaos boon increasing dash-attack damage which i always want as well. As basic attack boon i like athena, aphrodite or artemis cause i love the crit. Deadly Dash, Support Fire, Hunter's Mark, Pressure Points, Strong Drink and Poseidon's Aid, Aphrodite's Aid, Dionysus's Aid or Artemis's Aid. Since i'm still not that good at the game and somewhat frequently have to use the lifesteal of my swirl to regain some of my hp i use the Pom Blossom instead of Pierced Butterfly
First clear on attempt 16, that's when I discovered the power of dash attack builds. – spam attack dash with any of the weapons and pray to Athena for a deflect dash
– use blood shot (O button) and stack 3+ on the bosses.
-always pick the Daedus hammer when faced with the choice.
-dash dash dash, and dash more!
Your 1st point is super subjective. I, and a lot of other people, learn faster by getting in the action and seeing the mob/boss' patterns. No better way to do that than get in their face and see what they do about it. Will you take damage more at 1st? Of course you will. But if you actively try and learn from these encounters you will progress in skill far more quickly than playing back and "safe."
On one of my absolute best runs Hades just let me pass. I was like, wtf? Hades just Rick Rolled me.
Not to be too nitpicky but it's "Roguelike" not "Rougelike" at 2:01 Rouge is a type of makeup or the bat from Sonic Heroes, Rogue is the game
Butterfly isn't that good considering it prevents you form using any other keepsakes
A very beginner friendly god is Poseidon. No flat damage reduction, but knockback effects are a great way to make some space and not get overwhelmed by enemies rushing you.
