We finally get some news about Hades 2, including when we can expect the Early Access version of the game to be available, a technical test prior to release, and much more! Come check it out!
ABOUT THIS GAME
The first-ever sequel from Supergiant Games builds on the best aspects of the original god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler in an all-new, action-packed, endlessly replayable experience rooted in the Underworld of Greek myth and its deep connections to the dawn of witchcraft.
BATTLE BEYOND THE UNDERWORLD
As the immortal Princess of the Underworld, you’ll explore a bigger, deeper mythic world, vanquishing the forces of the Titan of Time with the full might of Olympus behind you, in a sweeping story that continually unfolds through your every setback and accomplishment.
MASTER WITCHCRAFT AND DARK SORCERY
Infuse your legendary weapons of Night with ancient magick, so that none may stand in your way. Become stronger still with powerful Boons from more than a dozen Olympian gods, from Apollo to Zeus. There are nearly limitless ways to build your abilities.
MINGLE WITH (MORE) GODS, GHOSTS, AND MONSTERS
Meet a cast of dozens of fully-voiced, larger-than-life characters, including plenty of new faces and some old friends. Grow closer to them through a variety of new interactions, and experience countless unique story events based on how your journey unfolds.
EVERY RUN IS ITS OWN ADVENTURE
New locations, challenges, upgrade systems, and surprises await as you delve into the ever-shifting Underworld again and again. Reveal the mysteries of the Arcana Altar, tame witchy familiars, and gather reagents using Tools of the Unseen to get closer to your goal.
THE PERKS OF IMMORTALITY
Thanks to a variety of permanent upgrades and the return of God Mode, you don’t have to be a god yourself to experience what Hades II has to offer. But if you happen to be one, you can brave escalating challenges for greater rewards, and prove just how divine you really are.
SIGNATURE SUPERGIANT STYLE
Rich, atmospheric presentation and storytelling fused with responsive action is the hallmark of Supergiant’s titles. Vivid new hand-painted environments, even smoother real-time 3D characters, and an electrifying original score make this mythic world burst with life.
COMING TO EARLY ACCESS
Getting player feedback through key phases of development was vital for the original Hades, so we plan to reprise that process once more, once this game is further along. Add Hades II to your wishlist to be the first to know when Early Access is available!

Whoaaaa
It's not the most exciting on the surface, but the fact that they're taking their time to get it right even before Early Access drops makes me really excited.
If they need someone to run the game at 2000 fps I am also available for the technical test.
Hello from DR!!♥
Having played several of their games, I also trust them and if anything I’m reassured. They’re sharing more than most studios would, and also promising to not release the game (1.0) until it’s ready. 👏🏽
I missed early access for Hades, so I really want to do it for the sequel. It probably won't be exactly the same since they worked out a lot of mechanics with the first, but still great nonetheless.
Will Hades 2 be coming to consoles at the official release? Have they said anything about that?
LETS GOOOO
early access can be really fun. i got rimworld and subnautica pretty early and I loved following along with all the patches on both games
What's happening at supergiant games!? I know they're not large but it does seem it's taking extra long for even a beta! Or I'm just not patient!
I'm completely on board with them taking their time to make a worthy successor to Hades. I just hope early access won't be exclusive to PC and I'll get a chance to join in on the fun even as a "console peasant".
Thing about releases on Epic – I literally know no person, who commonly uses that platform, and any exclusive is just considered "no released", till it arrives on Steam. It didn't bother me, Epic gives some sweet sweet money to devs, and when product eventually releases on Steam, it's in much better state, so I treated it as kind of a win in the end, but I'm not going to lie and say "it doesn't feel good to have Hades 2 released without further, non-development related, delays".
Let's hope the game will write new chapter of rouge-lite history 🙂
Finally some news !!! Can't wait…..
What were the odds of getting news of the 2 sequels I've been looking forward the most of these recent years, with Hades and FF7R, dropping ont eh exact same day !
Damn ! The emotional damage !
Also, frankly, this is the way to do it !
Instead of giving a deadline that will pretty much always be too short, they're taking their time to build the core of the game, and don't have a definitive date for v1.0, which will happen whenever they feel they're really ready, so you don't have a catastrophe like Cyberpunk 2077 on your hands that will tarnish your reputation forever.
Honestly, I feel like every movie or game should be done that way ! Forget the deadlines, just work on your project until it's reasonably polished, then only get it out !
No need to overwork anyone to meet unreasonable deadlines.
I'd very much rather wait a longer time and get an awesome product right from the get go rather than be impatient and pressure a studio to "gimme gimme", only to get early a buggy game with an uncooked story, that crashes every once in a while.
