Personally find the pizzicato a little blunt and too prominent compared to the lyrics. Takes me out of the dreamy vibe. Reminds me of the midi esque soundtracks from old point and click gamea. A bit repetitive for me overall. A little bit more time in the oven maybe?
I'm a baritone sax player and now I need to emulate the pizzicato part . Love the music and all the supergiant team work ❤

I got chills when i reached that area (Not saying which area, because spoilers of course)
I stopped the game more than once to enjoy this track. This track really embodies the siren, and whoever came up with it is a genius.

Something I love about this game is how well some of the areas foreshadow what's to come with their audio and visual elements. Entering Oceanus for the first time I just thought "oh cool, lyrical music!" and only realized the music in question was coming from sirens once I saw the pearl on the boss door.

I thought I wouldn't like the 2nd environment when I first got to it, but when the music got better the closer you got to the boss, I'm always excited to get through the 1st environment.

The first thing that came to mind when I heard the humming was a song from another Supergiant game called "In Circles" from Transistor. Paired with the Art Deco environment, it really took me back when I first enjoyed Transistor. ❤
