Hades | The Slowest Build Ever | #19

Hades is a roguelike action role-playing video game developed and published by Supergiant Games. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2020, which followed an early access release from December 2018. Players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape from Underworld to reach Mount Olympus, at times aided by gifts bestowed on him from the other Olympians. Each run challenges the player through a random series of rooms populated with enemies and rewards, and the player uses a combination of their main weapon attack, dash power, and magic ability to defeat them while avoiding damage to progress as far as possible. While Zagreus will often die, the player can use gained treasure to improve certain attributes or unlock new weapons and abilities to improve chances of escaping on subsequent runs.

  1. to get some specific boons, you are required to get something else first from the same god to reach them , like for example to get "Jolted" you are required to get 1 or 2 out of the 7 boons that can let you have access to get "Jolted".

  2. Is there any way to get Deflect on the shield's block? Since the block is tied to Bull Rush, and Bull Rush is linked to the attack key, does taking Athena's attack accomplish that, or is there some other way, such as through a hammer upgrade? I know there's a hammer upgrade that makes Zagreus deal more damage after blocking, but I've never seen anything that says it turns the block into a Deflect.

  3. I was thinking the same thing when he said "I'll be back" and then you did the song and lets just say it's a good thing I wasn't taking a drink at the time or I would have ruined my keyboard!

  4. Great win Pally. Beware stacking too many of the same effect in your builds. The excess chill meant you wasted a lot of possible damage (for example the duo for cast and the call both usually hit him when he already had max chill stacks). The more you face and lose to Hades, you can start to figure out his attack sequence so you feel safer weaving in combos instead of settling on specials and casts from distance.
