Hades, the uncle simulator

Hey everyone! Many of you have asked to see me play Hades so your wish is my command. I have been having a TON of fun with this game since I purchased it. I haven’t felt this way about a game in a long time. If this inspires you to play the game, I suggest giving it a shot! Anyways, enjoy my ramblings as I show you a basic run in the game.

  1. Hades is an incredible game that I picked up around 3 weeks ago and have already sunk 70 hours in. I got good quick, just did a run today that beat 17 heat, and I,l be honest, I also have no idea what I’m doing. I know what boons I like and that Hermès’ gift is nice, but that’s about it. I cannot dodge things to save my life, it goes against the “turn my brain off and swing” play style. You know those ??? aspects at the bottom of each weapon? Yeah, I’ve used the sword’s to get that 17 heat, I don’t know if it’s good but big numbers make the neurons activate. So in terms of advice or strats, I can’t say anything definitive, find something that you enjoy doing instead of meta bullshit, since these 20-40 minute runs will melt away if you’re using a weapon that you like. So glad to see someone have this much fun with a game like I have, and I wish you the best on your future escapes.

Oh, one advice I can give… if you’re going to pump up the extreme measures pact 4 times, be prepared

  2. If you're looking for another roguelike to try out I'd recommend Risk of Rain 2. Its truly an amazing game with lots of replay ability. Its also got a new DLC coming out soon with a sniper character so now would be a good time to get into it.

  3. 0:48 So Ambroisa might not be as important earlier on, but it becomes much more important later. When you are leveling up your affinity with people, you normally use Nectar. But once you reach a certain point, you start using Ambrosia to level it up.

  4. one of my favorite builds in this is the economy build with the sword, you get the upgrade that adds like 10% of your money to damage and stack the upgrades to money earned, and slap them with you fat stacks of cash
