Hades landed on my Switch out of nowhere this week – I had no idea the game was even in development, but I am immediately in love with it. What a beautifully slick, intelligent, refined roguelike it is.
This is just my first impressions from the first couple of hours – look forward to a full review on DDNet early next week! But this is one of those games that I find myself thinking about when I’m not playing so, unless something dramatically goes wrong later on, it’s going to be a highlight of the year.
Are you playing Hades? Let me know your thoughts in the comments – I’d be especially interested to hear if this one is hooking people in who don’t usually like roguelikes, because this one is doing some really interesting things with the genre.
