  1. the combat does get a bit samey for just a tad bit too long, by the time you're bored of the combat you've barely unlocked any titans blood which is what changes up the combat with different mehtoods of using your weapons, its just a bit too late for that spice in my mind

  2. Spoiler alert….most people don't know squat about Greek or Norse mythology. They just think they do because of video games and movies. I'll give one example out of MANY; the animated movie "Hercules" set in Greece….where the name would have been Haracles because "Hercules" is Roman. The list of major issues like that, which appear in movies and video games with depressing regularity, is huge.

So if you think you know about anything because you played it in a video game or saw it in a movie, I strongly suggest doing some real research on it.

  3. It’s always really makes me think I should take a look at a game it when it starts to make Yahtzee start talking in pros and cons like a serious game reviewer and not just his usual deliverer of excellent video game themed comedy snark.

  4. This review seems to lack the usual fire, almost as if it's' one draining sigh. Watching/listening to many reviews in the last few weeks, this one is rather dull, lacking and forced. Much sad.

  5. Yhatzee translation:

If you are a fan of the rogue like genre, you probably already know about this game due to early access, and he liked a lot of aspects of it. He has some personal gripes, but thats more of a him thing. You should probably check it out.

  6. Played Hades in early access for a long time that when the game was finally released, couldn't care anymore. Got around 35 hours of gameplay out of a 15$ game, so it's all good.

  7. The reason that most mythology based games comes from Greek mythology is 2 main reasons.
    1. The Greeks wrote everything thing down so we know a lot because of the many many sources.
    2. Aside from Greek and Egyptian mythology, we don’t know much about any other cultures ‘true’ mythology because the original texts were lost because of Christian expansion, and they replaced it with their own version.

  8. Supergiant Games : "Exploring the dichotomy between movies you think are good and the type of movies that you actually watch."

Can't say I disagree though. There's a tone of games that I find a lot more interesting to learn about than to actually play. I'm sure there's a long German word for that.
