This weapon and boon combo is just reminding me of death must die a bit.
I kinda wish there was a way to guarantee Artemis in a run. First blood and death warrant are crazy powerful boons and can work with pretty much any build. Also, support fire + air quality is an underrated combo
Haelian, i think autofire might have stopped working bc of he change in channel speed from the loss of the dress, Also it would be good if fire extinguisher was affected by the legendary

you can do above 100% with fire extinguisher. It is fun when you get it. But not a viable build

sucks that i actively avoid Haephy and Hestia's attack and special boons cuz they need so many hoops to jump thru to make a build around them worth it. if i get blitz im happy to have it just for having it, freeze? close range damage amp? love them, they work extremely well out the gate. Scorch and clang seem like boons id treat like i did ares boons: attach to a button imma gonna have to press anyway even tho is not my main damage button this run, Like placing ares on attack for Aspect of Chiron(homing bow).
i think the scortch effect affects bosses differently, because on the normal enemies, scorch highlights the damage dealt over time with a yellow bar, but doesn't show on boss health bars, i may be wrong

Feel like this game is too much about picking one move of your skillset and sticking to it without using anything else. I wish there was a reason to use your entire moveset for each weapon.
I finally beat 32 fear with every weapon (and if you're doing a build that goes through magic quickly selene is pretty good, even if she needs some love rn; phase shift legit is what made the difference in the torch attempt) and torches need not only buffs but also tracking and animation changes, with the staff also perhaps needing tiny tweaks on the omega attack/special power. Other weapons are great, they're fun, and SGG have done it again.

I still dont understand how scorch works in this game. Is it like delayed damage, like poison in other games?
Try Hera on the torch special, can inflict hitch on entire rooms and it destroys everything

Craziest damage I've gotten with torches was Aphrodite special + Icarus special buffing boon, Eris melted alive from 500+ dmg from single rotating orb.

Would an afk build work in this game? My first thought was no bc chronos has an instakill but then i remembered that coarse grit exists soooo maybe? You're gonna try it one of these days I'm sure 😉

Hey, I just did that build on the surface and got the Icarus boon that makes an explosion whenever an Omega move hits. Having the Impervious boon from Hephy as well, I would start every encounter by just sitting in the middle of enemies spamming the Omega Special and watching as everything started exploding around. Was pretty fun! Including having a common Broken Gain and going to 0 mana a couple of times.
I hope they change Zeus's boons around. They don't feel right
Vow of Forsaking is definitely one of the easiest vows for fear and I always run with it for anything over 8 fear, but I've had a looooot of runs where it left me with no magick regen boon because the vow simply banished all of the options into the shadow realm lmao. there are absolutely ways it can mess you up, more than the underworld customs even
Also, you might have figured this out later, but Mel fires the fireballs into whatever direction she's facing when you start the omega special. That's why she keeps firing into weird directions where there are no enemies or missing.
does anyone know how to fix "aiming down to cursor" problem?
Hestia scorch rate should buff to 80 per second at the very least, right now it's super slow compared to any other boons, i mean right now it take 5 sec to deal 200 damage? That's insane.

i had a run with staf special and got the double shot on special with the burn and was stacking 2000+ burn. Fire extinguisher boon would have helped a lot. I would have done 2000 damage in seconds to cerberus.
Fire extinguisher and funeral pyre with torches is very good. Also extinguisher is pommable and I believe can go over 100%.
Regarding the Tartarus room limit it is possible to run out of rooms that can generate and it will actually give you the item you were expecting at the entrance of the shop. I can confirm as well that from both Chaos and the Tartarus fountain room it is possible and likely to get a double shop door.
