  1. Been hearing that both the movie director & actor set to play Blade are thinking about walking away from this production. Given that they're on the 5th script rewrite in 7 years, I say it's high time both do walk away- esp given that 1- this won't be a proper vampire movie if Marvel intents on making this a PG rated movie. & 2- most important of all- given the history of the MCU to push the BM Superhero into the background of his own movie in order to push the female characters- like they did with Black Panther, one can expect them to do the same with Blade in as well.

Other than the "Wolverine vs Deadpool" movie, I don't any of the upcoming Marvel productions- this one included doing well at all.

  2. they can't figure out how to do it without creating a Black Panther-esque fan craze after barely escaping that one becoming more than just a movie.

  3. This movie is to Marvel Studios what Future Combat Systems (FCS) was to the US Army: an overambitious program whose managers either didn't know what they wanted, or wanted the impossible- in the FCS's case, they wanted to replace the 60-ton M1 Abrams main battle tank with a 20-ton vehicle that "skipped a generation" in technology to let the 20-ton FCS's armor provide protection equal to the 60-ton M1's- which not wasted time, money, and other resources, they were "opportunity costs" that prevented those involved from spending those resources on a program that would actually WORK.

What could Marvel Studios do with the tens of millions it ALREADY WASTED on a 'Blade' reboot IN NAME ONLY? Introduce the X-Men to the MCU? Make a 'Fantastic Four' movie that is WATCHABLE? Hell, they could've introduced Blade's daughter in a SOLO movie, which would've been more successful at the box office, than using the "bait and switch" tactic to trick 'Blade' fans into watching a movie starring HER, as Marvel Studios' recent bombs proved!

Your idea of vampires and other undead being immune to Thanos' "snap," and taking advantage of the resulting chaos, is EXCELLENT- far better than anything Marvel Studios and Marvel Comics had during the past five years.
