I think now is a good time to ask the community and viewers to be kind and respectful to others. I am very disappointed to say that there has been influx of bad behavior since this massive accomplishment. Not just to me, but to AngeL1C and other commenters. This is insane, I'm a new-ish player, recently finished 16 heat and going for 32 now. My total escape attempts are at 112. I don't know if I'll ever even attempt this. Wow.
Being able to complete a speedrun certainly doesn't make it legit. Most of the biggest video game cheaters were masters in their field – they don't cheat because they aren't good enough, they cheat to speed up the time needed to get specific rng results.
You shouldn't assume someone can't be cheating just because they're good at the game, this sort of behaviour leads to cheaters being unnoticed for years. Treat everything with a grain of salt but don't attack anyone without solid evidence.
It's all innocent until proven guilty so no worries.
I'm actually delighted when stuff like this happens—saw your video yesterday, deeply enjoyed the follow-up. I'd never heard of AngeL1C before but I'm not forgetting her now.
And here we thought it was impossible. Yet, all it took was an angel. Congratulations to AngeL1C.
