Gilgamesh seems so cool on paper, but when it comes to gameplay it feels so clunky and flawed. The one merit of the Aspect (the increased number of dashes) is offset by possibly the worst dash-attack of any of the melee weapons in the game, making what SHOULD feel fast instead feel like you're experiencing constant whiplash — less of a wild animal lunging around and more like an idiot trying to dodge traffic. On top of this, Maim feels like a complete after-thought, especially with the horrible damage-buff it grants enemies for a means of 'balance'.
Whilst, yes, SOME builds work with Gilga, they're gimmicky at best and cumbersome at absolute worst, and I'd rather personally take a Zag Aspect over Gilga almost any day. At the least, they're reliable and you know almost exactly what you're getting outside of RNG.

Maybe someone can explain this to me. Why do people run splash dash on melee builds? Splash dash is obviously a good boon, but even if I'm running a spear I frequently knock enemies out of my attack range. Walls are useful sure, but that's not always an option. I don't think the loss of consistency is worth it.
