Wanted to say that I got into speedrunning because of your vids, and I've had a blast. I still enjoy playing the video game hades for personal computer after hundreds of hours and near identical runs. Something about honing a skill and striving for as good as you can be is rewarding. I've even dipped my toes into running a few other games, but none as much as hades. I've gotten really close to the top 10 on rama any heat IGT, it's just my favorite weapon (I like big hits), and that's pretty good in my book.
Congrats on these years of hades videos! I've been very grateful for all of them and I'm looking forward to the next chapter

Btw, the reason it feels like you're gaining darkness so slowly is bc new players generally take a long time to beat 0 heat, so each time they attempt a run, they get darkness from all the bosses instead of titan's blood, gems, and ambrosia. Since you've just been cranking out wins and blazing through the heat levels, you've been getting those other meta-progression materials instead

would love a playthrough of hollow knight in similar vein like this hades series. Just playing through the game casually enjoying the game with the audience, getting the different endings etc, maybe trying goofy charm combos. Series' like these always scratch that itch in the brain that says "i wish i could experience this game for the first time again". Love anything you put out tho so cheers Dan
Thank you for all the videos, Hades and otherwise! Your videos got me into Rama speedrunning and helped me get into the any heat top 10 for the aspect at one point, and your videos were also just a generally super helpful distraction for me during those early covid-era years!

End of an era indeed! I can say I legit teared up a bit at the end. Your Hades videos were so entertaining it's hard to overstate. Not to mention the other games I discovered through this channel. I know I'm not the only one who transitioned to a remote work lifestyle around that time period and watching a new Haelian Hades run became like comfort food to get me through an afternoon. Here's to the future and Hades II!
