  1. 14:30 quite a clever thing which i think more roguelike should do. Randomly switching up the first boss for a slightly different version. Really help against the redundancy of having to go trough those first areas over and over but its familiar enough that you arent completely screwed over.

  2. That first 5 titan blood expenditure was a little bit oofed my friend. Titan blood is a bitch to get and I recommend you invest in one aspect for each weapon to start with.

Chiron on the bow is sick once it's maxed out but it's a little mediocre before that. Hera bow is fricking great when combined with Dionysis Cast. You can really clear a room with that

Talos on the fists is great.

Poseidon on the sword is fantastic if you want to play a cast heavy play style that can work really really really well once you get used to it. Other than that I'd go Nemesis

The shield's aspects are kinda mediocre tbh but the best one in my opinion is the Chaos aspect but really only after you max it out.

The spear's aspects are a bit weird and I don't really have much of an opinion on these.

For the Adamant rail both the new aspects are really good. Just different playstyles really.

  3. Aphrodite's Call is a weird one. Some Calls (Zeus and Dionysus, for example) work very well on single-bar casts, but Aphrodite really wants you to throw a full gauge into it for the Greater Call, especially against bosses, where it will absolutely bloody well crater their health bars.

Try out Zeus's keepsake with the Adamant Rail next time, and try to get his chain lightning on your attack. The Adamant Rail rather likes Boons that offer a flat damage boost of some sort (Zeus, Ares w/ the "additional hits stack Doom" upgrade, Dionysus), but the real winner here is the God of Thunder.

And, yeah, the spread fire upgrade for the Rail is awful unless you're intentionally building around it. Which you probably aren't, if you took the Rail in the first place.

  4. Ah Alecto. My favorite Fury. I've never died to her because during her Rage mode she gives chase and I use that opportunity to make her step into the many traps all over the room. I barely attack her because she keeps hurting herself with the traps. If you have any deflect moves I just use it on her projectiles while shes charging up her Rage. I find her easier than Meg /laugh

  5. "lightning damage only when I get hit? well that doesnt seem that useful since I need to actually ya know, take damage for it so…not that"
next room: proceeds to immidiately be hit like 5 times within 10 seconds
this is why I love lets players sometimes <3 enjoying watching this playthrough

  6. Everyone likes to talk about how Hades got โ€œthe short end of the stick,โ€ forgetting that all he has to do is wait for all the wealth and souls of the world to eventually become his. Arguably he got the best deal.

  7. Okay, you may not see this, what with the video being over half a year old, but Sisyphus didn't do any murder or f*cked up shit, that was Tantalus. Boy howdy was it Tantalus. Sisyphus tricked Hades and then Thanatos, cheating death twice. The first time, beforehand he told his wife to not do the proper funeral rites when he died, and then he was like, "My silly wife forgot to do a proper burial, you need to let me back up there to give her a stern talking to, and then I'll be right back. Promise." (Narrator voice- he did not come back.) So then Thanatos turns up in person to collect him. I don't remember how he did this, but he tied Than up. So not only could he not die, but nobody else could, either. So. Hades was kind of annoyed about that. I forget how it resolves after that exactly, but we know how it ended.
Tantalus killed his son and fed him to the gods as a sacrifice when they unexpectedly turned up for dinner. They…weren't happy about that. He did some other things, too, but that's the doozy.

  8. Was binging this series, and in the last episode you mentioned using the custom emojis . So here I am in the next episode having Joined this channel, and using custom emojis
I am happy you added a way to support you via YouTube because apparently, that is the only way I can actually monetarily support someone. Mostly because I don't have an international credit/debit card and because Paypal support in India is…..confusing to say the least? This basically means Patreon, Twitch bits, etc are all impossible for me. So here's the only possible monetary support I can give outside of YouTube SuperChats and SuperStickers (on the chance that I actually catch them live). Hope this can brighten your day, or even your hour, just a little bit. You have certainly brightened my life with your incredible analysis and genuinely funny commentary – whether they be actual words or incoherent screams .
