► Hades 1.0 Full Release Story Synopsis
Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.
As the immortal Prince of the Underworld, you’ll wield the powers and mythic weapons of Olympus to break free from the clutches of the god of the dead himself, while growing stronger and unraveling more of the story with each unique escape attempt.

Thanks
Hiii! Thanks!..You're my learning english muse. And actually your playthroughs are darn good! I wouldn't fare as you do, I would be cursing worst way possible any failure and lost battle! 😄😄 Alright, happy New Year you miss!
Oh, trust me, you still have locked content for contractor, it's like with everything else in this game – you've put over 60 hrs in it but there's stILL SO MUCH CONTENT NOT YET SEEN
love how welonz consistently fucking hates zeus
I think it'll be worth trying 32 Heat at least once or twice, even if it doesn't go well. But honestly, with the heat options you've been taking, if you combined them all, and choose some odd ones you don't usually think of, I think you'd get closer than you expect anyway
22:26 Welonz, you're supposed to cook the fish after you catch them.
Great video and a really fun run.
Hope everything turns out okay with the family.
Also, I'm really impressed with how Supergiant weaved the conflicting tales of Zagreus into the game. For those unaware, there are basically two different myths about Zagreus, one where he's a god of the underworld, possibly the highest one, or as the son of Hades and Persephone. The other myth, he's the son of Zeus and Persephone, the "first Dionysis" who was dismembered by titans and reborn. The latter one is the one believed by followers of Orpheus, which makes it hilarious that the game sets it up as a prank by Zagreus. XD
I got a challenge run for you, Welonz. 👀 it’s called A Pierced Butterfly run!
1:02:10 If being naked is indecent then surely skeletons, who are even more naked, are even more decent. Makes sense.
Some tips for doing speedy-runs which might be helpful for next time :
don't skip any free rooms which include chaos/mid-shops/event rooms, chaos counts as a room, so it is always worth it to reduce speed
meg keepsake helps a lot in quickly killing the minibosses/bosses
em2 lernie is quicker than normal as the room is smaller
take forced overtime – enemies spawn faster
extra dashes and hypersprint from hermes are very helpful
in styx, the miniboss rooms are faster than normal room, so you'll want to take those rooms first
and most importantly, pray to the RNG gods for a 2-sack.
Most speedrunners use eris rail for speedrunning and they try to go for a very specific build, you might want to try it out sometime.
Orpheus created the Hymn, thus started the disjointed, incoherent tales of Zagreus causing nobody to fully agree on his true origins.
Will always love how the devs tied that around in this game.
Materwelonz, I think you would love "Omori."
I encourage anyone who hasn't checked it out to do so. It's a masterpiece and deserves way more attention than it's getting.
Nyx laughing feels like she's trying to mimic a human emotion, that's what makes it scary lol love how she's trying though, and how she is overall.
Don't worry too much about unlocks, you've actually unlocked quite a few things already that just didn't happen yet. For some it takes some time, and the way you've progressed super fast early on made it that you kind of "missed" a lot of early interactions, with which the game is catching up now, from time to time, and adds to the delay of newer unlocks a bit more.
Zagreus/Dionysus origin story is ever more fascinating, as the Zagreus was presumably torn to shreds by titans and devoured. Most popular form of the story has Zeus obliterate titans with his thunder, and their ashes created humans: with titan aspect of mortallity and remains of the god's flesh among them giving origin to human souls. It's pretty symbollic for the flaws of body and immortallity of the soul.
The concept of dismembering follows Dionysus further down the line, even after he lost his title as a cthonic god, together with aspect of wine-induced madness. Even Orpheus himself meets the end from the angrered Bacchae, Dionysus followers, that tore him into shreds.
For the next run, try to meet Sisyphus and you will be surprised.
Also, when you're in Tight Deadline. Whenever you're in doubt about which room to choose. Try to pause, then you will have more time to think. Especially for the higher heats, where every room would be critical.
28:10 Do you remember that when Orpheus still refused to sing, he asked you to choose one song from three and you chose In The Blood? If you had selected one of the other two songs, Zagreus would comment on the ending cutscene stuff instead.
Hearing Nyx laugh is both scary yet joyous at the same time
Hey Welonz, Happy New Year's Eve!
