Let us know what other games to do Trying To Play episodes on!
its heavily implied in the binding of isaac that isaac is dead, so the reason why you replay the game could be because you are in an afterlife of some sort or something like that
Great video bois. Relaxing. Next time you should play apex and include James
YO TRY DARKWOOD MINGERS
genuinely really fun and relaxing to watching this! you guys should definitely do more of these
Is it April 1st, because IHE Gaming is here to pwn some noobs epic style
Most rogue-likes actually do have a story and conclusion, even stuff like Binding of Isaac though its 'plot' is deliberately very obtuse. Just very few of them manage to contextualize the gameplay and each individual run as well as Hades; few make the story and characters as entertaining. Even the worst runs in Hades still feel like you're progressing while runs in games like Isaac/Enter the Gungeon/Darkest Dungeon/etc can often feel like a waste of time if you get bad RNG or die early for example.
JAR gaming? (absorb?)
Can we get Randy playing something?
JAR let’s play
I would love to see Trying To Play: Rain World
Monster train is another pretty good roguelike, but its a card game like magic the gathering
Excited to see you finally playing this one, Markiplier!
Nice seeing some more non-posdact videos
Game On
If you guys like supergiant stuff, I would love to see a video on Pyre. Maybe it wouldn't be the best for a single video format, considering the game is quite long and focused on story, but Pyre is probably the best supergiant game, story wise anyway. Would love to see that Pyre get some more attention.
I love this game, cool that you guys are playing it 🙂
Came for the thumbnail. Seems promising.
This has strong Let's Drown Out vibes.
Really enjoyed the format. Love this game too. Do you goons like Into the Breach or Slay the Spire? Might be a fun vid.
Make James play Sekiro with no coaching
I'd be very curious to see you guys play one of the many time loop games that released in the past few months: Twelve Minutes, The Forgotten City, Deathloop, and Outer Wilds (DLC just released).
Twelve Minutes has a LOT of discourse around its terrible ending, Forgotten City has an interesting backstory (started out as an award-winning Skyrim mod), Deathloop has received just as much acclaim as Arkane Studios' other fantastic games (Dishonored & Prey), and Outer Wilds is considered by many to be one of the best games of the last decade and possibly of all time.
You have to play the extreme measures version of the hades boss fight it's so fun and the music is fantastic
PlayLego Batman 2 :Beyond Gotham.!.&
Yoooo, I just got this game the other day and I've already crushed the shit out of it lmao. One of the best rogue likes out there right now
Hay deez nuts
I feel like the smiling boulder is also a reference to the myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus.
Trying To Play: Hunt Down the Freeman
I'd love to see you all play Smash Ultimate at some point!
I love you guys just talking about something. I feel like any content from JAR would be great.
I reckon cupheads a good shout
They Are Billions from a few years ago is an excellently designed, highly stressful RTS against up to tens of thousands of zombies in a single scenario. It's unforgivingly hard, with some shite design choices on some types of levels, but the main way to play is rewarding to learn and a blast to play.
The best podcasters playing the best game? Don’t mind if I do
Cheers gents, added this to my steam wishlist because of this.
Play Apex Legends
Imo my least favourite thing about hades is the progression system and how balanced everything feels, I love games like the binding of isaac or nuclear throne where 100 runs in and 1 run in its the same difficulty, and you just get better as a player.
Watched this while the edibles kicked in and holy shiy I feel like I've climbed through all 9 levels of hell, that was incredible
Risk of rain 2 would be another great rogue like to do sometime, awesome music as well
