  1. TWIN FISTS OF MALPHON MAINS REPRESENT ✊️🤜👊🤛💥 UNSPEAKABLE VIOLENCE

…Seriously though, Malphon got me my first full win on Run #24. And it's the reason for most of my wins in general. The visual embodiment of a tiny enraged kitten swiping at everyone and everything. Just god-powered. 🙂 💙

  2. It has been a while since the bow had a turn, hasn't it? The spear has been a bit lonely now as well iirc.

Giving backshots to enemies definitely looked effective, and giving Alecto Backshots, on your first meeting too, was definitely nice~ I wonder when we'll get the last of the three Furies from Greek myth. I also wonder if we'll see some more stuff from more myths. Man, I love the greek mythos~

  3. By the way, when you finish with the enemies in a room, if there is a fishing spot, mini-shop, pool to purge boons or any other thing you’ll hear a noise associated with it (unlocking noise for pool, a ding for fishing etc), so if you pay attention to that there’s no need to look for them each time

  4. A tip for the duo fight, it is usually better to focus down Asterius first, since Theseus also starts calling the gods when he gets low on health, which makes the arena a lot more crowded. You don't have to, but it does help to take them "one on one"

  5. this playthrough is the first hades playthrough I'm sticking with, and it's making me want to finally try out the game myself 😆😆 I'm not big on roguelikes (or rogue lites) bc I don't like doing what feels like retreading the same ground and losing progress, but the combat does look fun…

  6. You can hold down the attack button if you're using the fists. It's been a while so I'm not sure if this one is something you unlock by visiting Sisyphus enough times but there is one more npc you can talk to in his room. Keep this in mind whenever you visit him you'll figure it out eventually. The little bell that sometimes sounds when you clear a room or the room has no combat means you can fish in that room. Look for a white glow inside the bodies of water.

  7. Thanatos is such a sweetheart. He just offers a fun competition instead of beating the shit out of Zagreus like Maegera, even if he's not happy about Zagreus leaving. That's what you call true love
Also, he appears in the House, on the left balcony, after the runs you met him in, in case you want to talk to him

  8. I personally would have taken the Zeus boon on your Special. You were really lacking in crowd control and having lightning strikes attacked to your volley could have helped. It wouldn't have helped in the Asterius and Thesius fight but it might have helped enough in prior rooms to have given you the health to survive

  9. Theseus and Asterious are a hell of a fight, all about using the environment to your advantage as much as possible, and keeping them apart, generally, you want to focus 1 down, because dealing with Theseus god call while Asterious is charging is a lot to deal with, as for a Myth fact, Theseus is best known for not being terribly bright, and bad at remembering things, like how he sailed home with black sails, which signified he had died, when he was very much alive
