My intro/outro theme is from a very talented artist named Otso, I highly consider checking the song out! It’s called “Cute ninjas (don’t) cry”

I'm glad you liked the song! This is a one off theme for a hidden phase of the final boss. The other tracks are mostly an ambient stage themes that break down into battle themes. They're all great but this one is the cherry on top and my favorite 🙂. This game is fantastic.
I recommend checking out the orchestral concert where songs from all 4 Super Giant Games Games were played: https://youtu.be/9qM1BZjz6H0
I mean it's literally the deepest music of hell…
You should react to "Bullets per Minute" music..it's cheap rogue-like, rythm-shooter game, made by 2 guys from assets, but with kinda cool music.
“Banned for containing far too many notes per minute”
You should listen to Transistor and Pyre soundtracks as well. Darren Korb is awesome.
The theme of “HOW DID THIS GET HARDER”
The King and The Bull is the one song I’d recommend listening to as well, since no one mentioned it in the comments. My favorite battle music from this game right after The Unseen Ones.
As you requested… here's the request: Good Riddance, Out of Tartarus 🙂
Sounds like a dragon force song
A personal favorite of mine is Out of Tartarus. There's some fun with time signatures so if you're into that, give it a listen.
The Game Awards has an orchestra performing an OST mash-up for the nominees for Game of the Year. Poor bastards had to mash-up Hades AND Doom AND Final Fantasy 7 AND god damn Animal Crossing. (oh and also The Last of Us Pt.2 I guess)
But it goes HARD bro. Love your genuine reaction! While playing the game it can get a bit… Hard to recognize how much of a banger a lot of the tracks really are.
This masterpiece is a duo, played by Masahiro Aoki and Daisuke kurosawa, with God of the dead by Darren Korb in the back. Hades is one-of-the-kind top-down roguelike, mostly based on story, but with amazing soundtrack and game design
for Hades songs id suggest The Painful Way, The Exalted and Through Asphodel
The game is about escaping from hell, tartarus, whatever you wanna call it. At the surface, as a last and desperate attempt to stop you, you met Hades.
I was not prepared for the start of this track, and I've even heard it before! Normally, in game, this has more build up in preceding phases of the boss, but this just jumped to maximum.
"Finally, I'm finished."
"HI FINISHED, I'M DAD!"
I'm kind of disappointed he wasn't requested to listen to all three parts of God of the Dead in order. The Unseen Ones, while absolutely magnificent, just doesn't hit quite as well in a vacuum whereas when it is played after God of the Dead Part 1 & 2 those two already incredible themes magnify this one into true god tier levels.
I can't believe the in-game description of this song is "Banned for containing too many notes per second"
Edit: may I suggest the King and the Bull from this same soundtrack?
…..MAYBE A VERY GOOD TRACK BUT STILL NEEDS SOME EDITING……AS THESE TITLE THEME PIECES ARE UNFITTING AND TOO MUCH OF TEMPO CHANGES ARENT NICE TO SUPPORT PLAYER WITH HELPING TO ACTUALLY CONCENTRATE NOT DISRUPT BY ANY MEAN
=BUT STILL,THE PIECE OF MASTERY INDEED,STILL…….
It's crazy that Orpheus can play this on a lyre
Adding to what others have said, to put it a little more bluntly: this is literally the second half of the final boss theme, but with two guitar soloists going nuts on top of it. They literally specifically brought in two extra guys for this one track just to go ham on it.
The two who do most of the hades sountrack (Darren Korb and Ashley Barrett) actually preformed with Imagine Dragons at the game awards last year. Which was unbelievably cool
My absolute favourite song from the OST is Rage of the Myrmidons!
It's music for the unlockable stage 3 of the final boss. It's the final part of the fight that goes from part 1: you think you can beat me? ok i'll toy with you for a bit. Part 2: ok you're good, maybe i'll start trying. Part 3: you're my equal or better. Now i've got to use everything i've got, dirty tricks and all. 'Let us fight as Gods do'
This song basically:
Darren Korb (composer): i just finished the song for the final boss, i really went all out, nothing can top that
Devs: actually we are planning to add a third phase
Darren: … Got it…. Calls up two japanese guitarists
listening to the hades soundtrack if you've played the game is always such a fun balancing act between the urge to headbang vs the immediate flood of adrenaline that comes with the muscle memory of getting your ass kicked repeatedly. 11/10 would let the final boss kill me again. 😌
I Kinda wished you listened to "God of the dead" first then let it Transition to the "Unseen ones". It really goes from 10 to 11 then 12
This song is the reward for accepting and surviving the ultimate challenge of beating the game and kicking the god of hell's ass to the extent that he's willing to show you everything he has
Bro, I had the same face… WTF moments, mixed with 'I wanna cry', It's an absolute metal masterpiece.
I know year old video and all, but wanted to say thanks for the recommendation of Trivium – The Crusade. Absolute banger of a song. I didn't see it going through your list so definitely recommend "The King and The Bull" from the Hades soundtrack.
This is basically what it sounds like to fight god
It's completely different than this, but you should check out Orpheus's Lament, one of the best songs on the OST. Keep the lyrics handy, and be prepared to cry.
The entire soundtrack. I say this is a blind individuals who has been experiencing this game through a friend via discord. I don't know what it looks like but I love the Percy Jackson series so this game is just a giant Greek love letter and the main character is voice by the composer all this music.
Subscribed purely for mentioning Trivium. I've been listening to them since Acendency. I love how Matt's voice sounds and how well the band meshes. You should react to Good Riddence from Hades. with both singers if you haven't already. It's amazing.
