look at the shields differents forms… one of them is my 2nd fav weapon 🙂
Cast builds can work REALLY well with either Aspect of Hera on the bow, Aspect of Achilles on the spear, or the hidden fourth aspect of the shield. Hera bow and secret shield lets you load your casts into the arrow/shield bash for big burst damage, Achilles gives you a MASSIVE damage bonus for your next 4 attacks/casts after you use the spear toss.
I like to imagine Zag makes that Shade's day when he walks by

Try grabbing some more keys (or trading gems for keys at the merchant) to unlock the rest of the mirror bonuses as they are really good.
Also gift Dusa. Her trinket effect is pretty cool for survivability.
The Aphrodite max gauge does 2500 dmg, so yes it's very useful on bosses lol.
After you beat the chamber and collect the reward, if there is a fishing spot you will hear a ding. If you walk into a chamber that doesn't have an encounter, you'll hear the ding when you walk in.
Zag will usually says something as well.
The fully charged afrodite call did like 2,5k damage, dont really know if that is worth it though
There's no way you're not doing it on purpose. At least twice in this run complaining about not having fish with one of the fishing points literally on-screen. 😀

I counted at least two missed fishing spots, although one of them was really hard to spot as it was in between a bunch of background stuff.
Aphrodite's Call does deal a nice amount of damage even without the Charm effect, so you're not losing out on anything by taking it.
Fun note, check behind Persephone, sometimes there's a fishing spot; although I've only seen it once.

Go to the trader, you can buy keys for gems! 10 gems is one key, repeatable !
And the special deals can be extremely extremely cool.
I think I got 200 gems for 30 darkness once. That's why I have more things with keys unlocked than you, despite having done less runs (I think I am at 10 runs total so far, started way after you)

"But how does it work against bosses?" Ignores 2,500 damage from max gauge. To clarify because its confusing, that's ONLY when the gauge is at the maximum and you use all 5 charges at once.

Just adding my voice to the crowd saying boss rewards are unique per weapon and per heat level on the pact of punishment. Pretty sure you got to Elysium last time you used the fists
