  1. I was running the aspect literally yesterday I found that Doom on special stacks crazy with either freeze or poison on standard hits. Throw in some critical bonus and it was a fun build

  2. Another great vid, I think I prefer watching the whole thing rather than the stripped down version you tried.

I've got a Dusa idea! Mod it so your attack, special etc. come from Dusa, so when you attack the hitbox starts at Dusa instead of you. But you can't control Dusa's movement. Be interesting to try and stay alive while trying to hit things.

  3. Actually, Idea for a (big) mod: New "god" which is actually all your friends (hades crew, cthonic gods, etc). Make it kind of like Ender Lilies, where each ability just quickly summons a friend to do a move. Like, Achilles attacks, Meg is your special, Dusa is the cast, Thanos Ult, Cerberus dash, and then the other gods get involved with secondary boons, Orpheus doing bard shit to debuff/distract foes, Nyx revenge boon (must protecc), Mom giving snacks to heal/buff, maybe even Chaos getting in there to make shit weird

  4. An interesting Pom Only run would be High Voltage. A nice epic High Voltage, pom that 20 times or whatever. You need, like with many boons of that ilk, another boon to go with it. But. There's always Pressure Points, just a flat 1% increase per pom. Glacial Glare is silly.
It's a whole silly thing. I'm sure there's good options out there.

  5. Talos is my fave aspect in the game. The amount of utility the pull has is so fun. You can outright cancel the tug with a dash or cast and go straight into attacking and store the dash special for later.

My fastest run was with Talos + Artemis Attack + Swift Strike + some Chaos attack buffs. I was melting everything. Albeit it was still kinda slow, at ~12.5 minutes, but like… It was exhilarating.

  6. I disagree that it is the case with all anime. Other anime do new things to actually make villains threatening like actually make it win or make them kinda protagonists of series.

The best one is a chainsaw man without a doubt. Let it's part 1 come. You will understand how it actually makes its enemy more and more threatening and it is not an empty threat, it always actually affects characters and creates changes you don't accept.

Also yeah hunter x hunter is also a great anime where enemies feel really threatening and their stories are well done.

  7. Only partway through Asphodel in my viewing, but do you get literally EVERYTHING youre looking for in this run? LOL you got the Duo in Tart, all those cast damage items at the Wells, and now you roll into Flurry Cast? 🤣

All that luck used on a meme build! ❤

  8. Hunter x Hunter 2011 is the best shonen action anime of all time IMO. It's like the one RARE example of a relatively modern long running shonen that has actual substance. Watch it for sure.

  9. For what it's worth, I thought the live action One Piece was not only a good adaptation but worked surprisingly well as a self-contained season. It was a lot of fun to watch, but it's definitely not for everyone. You have to really love shounen and ridiculous, almost cartoony plots, but if you find a lot of anime boring or the power scaling poorly done, the live action is definitely worth a watch.

  10. If you're looking for a companion-based challenge, how about you can use Skelly every chamber, then the challenge is that you have to use Skelly every chamber and try to clear the chamber before he dies. Either get an incremental buff every time you do (like a Lambent Plume-style thing) or have some kind of penalty or debuff every chamber he dies.

Love the content! Keep it up, and can't wait for Hades 2!

  11. My best guess for dusea is to make her have several boons that affect her. Like attack damage, attack speed, and move speed. Then have them be pomable. I guess you could give her other abilities as well. Maybe something like triple shots, and AOE, damaging trails, bouncing projectiles, and being able to apply debuffs ext. Could make those like hammer upgrades. That might be alot though.

  12. Also recommend Hunter x Hunter, chatter was right that it's fantastic until the ant arc, which collapses under its own weight, though the conclusion of the arc/series is fkn brilliant
