► Hades 1.0 Full Release Story Synopsis

Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.

As the immortal Prince of the Underworld, you’ll wield the powers and mythic weapons of Olympus to break free from the clutches of the god of the dead himself, while growing stronger and unraveling more of the story with each unique escape attempt.

  1. In regards to the famous anger of Achilles — hehe, Homer's Iliad literally begins "Sing, oh muse, of the anger of Achilles". The whole epic poem begins with the initial cause of his anger (King Agamemnon disrespecting him), and the domino of consequences this caused in turn: Achilles withdrawing from battle in protest, the Trojans as a result managing to counterattack and causing suffering to the Greeks, Patroclus taking up Achilles armor to rally the Greeks, Hector killing Patroclus, Achilles killing Hector in revenge, Hector's father (King Priam) seeking out Achilles to retrieve Hector's body for burial — and the Iliad ends with Hector's burial, arguably the final link in the chain of consequences… The fall of Troy itself is not included in the Iliad, as it falls outside that narrow scope of "Achilles' anger"!

  2. Glad you made it this far and got to see the epilogue! 🙂 Congrats! There is indeed different dialogue from the Olympians post-epilogue, so I hope you enjoy that too!

  3. I am sitting here, unable to think of anything else, wondering if the forces exerted on the body of an ant falling from a table to the floor is the same as the forces exerted on the body of a human falling from a cliff to the rocks below.

  4. "How you say something is more important than what you actually say" sums up why I don't make friends eaisly lol
Always despised saying thing not straighfowardly, to the point that I'm oftend considered to be rude, which I almost take as a compliment.

  5. It'll make me sad to see this series go, but anything else beyond a certain point would just be a time/money sink. You've got all the major story beats, you've got almost all of the prophecies and character relationships done. This just means that soon we'll have some other cool thing to watch on this channel and the Hades playthrough will be sugarcoated Grecian memories.

  6. Loved this run! Great gameplay!

Now im hoping to sometime in the future see a continuation of this game. Specially because there's still too much that can be added, What about of the Olympians that were not mentioned: Hera and Hestia or some story with Zagreus brothers and sisters: Ploutos, Makaria and Melinoe?

  7. 57:10 citing Socrates there!! so proud
and I mean there's still a bit of tension between Zagreus and Nix about Dusa that is still unresolved as of now, but I'm happy we got to the reunion at last! I always love your commentary on the runs so it's been a blast watching the series

  8. Congrats on reaching the true ending! It is worth doing at least a few more runs as the dialogues and events still continue on, and adapt to it. But it's really up to you to decide when you want to end it, as it can go on for a really long time lol.
ps: can't believe it was the first time you got the rocket bomb, that mod is so good 🙂

  9. Have you ever watched Shadiversity? He talks about how to realistically write fantasy stories. He did a good episode on what weapons a giant would use, and he talked about how the greater your size, the more strength you need to exert just holding yourself up. I don't think an ant the size of a human would work. Its exoskeleton would probably weigh it down and break its spindly little legs.
