Woot!
These are getting way better and will be a good reference for years to come. When will Denafrips make a phono stage? I would also buy an active crossover.
Excellent information in this video. Similar video for the Athena will be great. Thank you Alvin!
Hi Alvin, thank you for the comparison video. It a pretty you did not include my Athena preamp. Do not forget your high end customerโs. Thank you.
Awaiting Denafrips to implement HT ByPass on their Pre-amp
Hi Alvin!
Hi Alvin. Great video as usual. I think it is safe to assume that the relay clicking will not be quite as loud with the units cover on and from the distance to the rig from the listening position. Also, yes. I would love an Athena video.
Alvin, Robert TN Still saving up for the pontus 2. I watch all your video's. Nice to see someone in the business that takes the time to really showcase his products. As very few people showcase their products like you do, it makes me feel much more comfortable in buying your product. Especially now that a service r is now US based. Thanks again for taking the time.
Alright Alvin, could you do a video on the Athena please. Many thanks….๐๐๐
Why would you choose this over a passive preamp? A passive preamp also does not influence the sound.
What is the benefit of having capacitors when nothing is being output? does it just help the dac by adding increased capacity?
What is the benefit of a class A buffer stage when nothing is being output besides what's input? Sounds almost like they are using the buffer stage to make sure the unit does output what is input, which is odd
Just trying to understand, this is fairly confusing, why you would want a preamp like this.
