6:58 – i always pick athena dash and pretty much avoid the rest aside from zues dash. It is pretty nuts imo, especially for melee run boss fights.
Every run you keep hoping for him to dash in a more sensible way. But every run he continues to disappoint. Never stop dashing big man. Never stop.

Most boons come in various rarities. Say you've got the Hermes boon for attack speed, at common level it's 10%, rare it's 20%, epic is 30% and heroic it's 40%(You can only upgrade a boon to heroic rarity or a god can offer a replacement for an epic boon with an heroic one) . This boon for example cannot be upgraded by poms, so Ambrosia Delight from Eurydice can give a boon a nice upgrade. Rarity is basically the quality of a boon. Poms upgrade the level. A level 2 heroic boon will probably be better then a common level 6 since levels have diminishing returns. So if you've got boons with crappy rarities I'd say it's better to upgrade the quality and if you've got good quality and low level boons then go for Pom Porridge.
Persephone is Demeter's daughter. Hades kidnapped Persephone to marry her. Demeter got depressed and caused a winter that would end Humanity so Zeus forced Hades to allow Persephone to live with her mother half the year, every year. Winter is when Persephone is with Hades, Summer is when she is with Demeter.
Just for reference the Curse of Agony which makes its so your Attacks inflict Doom is always better in higher Raritys. This is True for all Boons.
Common Rarity its 50 Damage
Rare Rarity its 75 Damage
Epic Rarity its 100 Damage
Heroic Rarity its 125 Damage

So the shield and the gun are my favourite weapons and they honestly combo well with different type of gods. So if you want to be super strategic here are some suggestions
Shield: Get Poseidon, the knockback that is already in the shield will get stronger and the rupture effect destroys almost all enemies. Combo that with Like Dionysis poison or Demeter slow and you win
Gun: Artemis is a must, she is amazing with the gun since you fire fast and with a distance, getting a lot of crit chance and many smaller arrows is insanely op, then get some Zeus for your special and you are set for days my man.
23:27 Rarities most often just affect scaling of skills, so if you can upgrade their rarities you should go for it. why? well if you could have managed to get Doom upgraded to Rare rank then instead of 50 it might have dealt something like 70. I might be misremembering, but this is how rarities have worked in this playthrough(there are some rarities that don't fit the standard categories as well, Legendaries are one of those exceptions as only Dual boons count as legendary)
I would also choose to upgrade the rarity of your boons, it dosn't replace your boons. It is just 2 of your boons, chosen randomly. Get a better rarity. Since the rarity increases the base damage of the boon it is always more valuable than a pom upgrade since it isn't as strong.
